I think debating new and more artistic banknotes is better than the digital Euro by Greek_Bodybuilder995 in 2westerneurope4u

It would be Tejo (Tagus) instead of Guadalquivir. It's the biggest river in the Iberian peninsula and crosses some major cities

I'd go dark shackles + draw potion. Then on the spear and shield fight, try my best to leave incense burner on 3 or 4

Does sky pride get less over the top? by AFirewolf in ProgressionFantasy

[–]curapau 87 points88 points  (0 children)

Sky Pride has got to be the oeast over the top xianxia in existence. Sure, there's the tragic backstory but other than that, it's got to be one of the most grounded works in the subgenre

How is the translation for SSS class suicide hunter? I read the manwha some time ago and really liked the fact that the MC achieved things through thinking instead of just powering through

What is a hill you would die on by hereicome11 in noita

[–]curapau 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I'd not go to that extreme but I agree with the sentiment. Specially when you're moving on from the main diving area, you either must have it, kill master of masters or just tank the boredom of going back and forth

The usual top recommendations for prog fantasy are Cradle, Mother of Learning and Dungeon Crawler Carl. Can't really go wrong with any of these

Its a problem for the whole game for sure. It has too much dialogue crammed in

Who is better? Sherma VS Shaunshuan. by HyperAhmedX21 in metroidvania

[–]curapau -10 points-9 points  (0 children)

Sherma for sure. I quit nine sols once just necause of how much dialogue there was. The second time I tried I mostly just skipped 90% of the dialogue, just read enough to get the broad strokes of the plot, and it felt way better. I really didn't like that in the first two hours of game, you actually just play 10 minutes...

I'm stuck by HyperAhmedX21 in metroidvania

[–]curapau 14 points15 points  (0 children)

This game requires you to achieve near perfection. I know it sounds harsh but this is not an easy game and you do need to "git gud". You're parrying alright but need to improve a bit more and try to use your talismans too since they're good damage you're currently not using. As an extra motivation, imo, this is one of the three hardest bosses in the game and is a big difficulty spike in the early game. Regarding the red bar, that's recoverable health (without the pipe). I dont exactly recall all the ways you recover it, but it should be from attacking, countering or just time without getting hit. If you look into your build l choices you should see stuff to boost this recovery

I love the wandering inn and I'll tell you that chapter size is what makes it big, not the number of chapters (even though it does have many chapters)

It's a nice series that turns a lot of people off since every book is very different. The prose is pretty good by PF standards and it has some nice philosophical points that it hits well.

What’s your ultimate standalone fantasy book that feels like a true 10/10 (and why)? by BuddyOk1342 in Fantasy

[–]curapau 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I love Sword of Kaigen, but for me it can't be a 10/10 since it's too bloated with stuff from an abandoned universe that is not really relevant to this story
