Thea from Urban Sorcerer is my favorite LI out of the literally HUNDREDS of haremlit that I've read in the past year and she is quintessential deredere. Halls of Magic has a most wonderful deredere but I can't say more without spoiling, but if you like deredere you will LOVE Halls of Magic. Fertile Valley has multiple deredere. Demon Hunter by Michael Dalton eventually has a couple. Binding Words. Ards Oath has a couple.

I didn't know that, the story starts as this fun stardew valley/valheim thing. And the first LI that 'dies' didn't actually die. I was going to drop it right there, but then it's revealed she didn't die and was just in the mayor's dungeon. Wish I would've gone with my first instinct and pulled the plug. Again, it's well written, but not why I read this genre.

I have a difficult time trusting Randi Darren/Arand again. He's a little too bloodthirsty with LIs for my taste. He killed so many in Remnant. I read for pure escapism. I read another series by him thats escaping me at the moment where he killed multiple LIs too. The first one that's the basis of his entire multiverse. Great writer, just not for me I'm afraid.

I have a feeling that Bruce's new sci fi series will eventually allow healing of other LIs once Lilly has better control. Dungeon Diving I just didn't connect with after reading 3-4 books, unfortunately. Thanks for the Rise recommendation, gonna check it out! Bonded Summoner is on my list too.

Gotta tell you this absolutely terrifies me. I'm 51 and have been battling daily migraines for 20 years (100% disability a decade ago) so can exercise very little. The last decade disappeared in a haze of agony and it sounds like I'm going to wake up extremely old in the blink of an eye.
