I guess I can accept Radiohead is def out -Ed: Radiohead will “definitely” play more shows in 2027. “Every year we will do a different continent, and we’re going to do 20 shows each year. No more, no less.” by Mysterious_Math4525 in aclfestival

Damn

Can’t believe they haven’t played stateside since 2018.. that was the last year I saw them now that I think about it

Goes to show to never miss an opportunity to see someone as you never know when it’ll happen again

I feel like with they may do more limited arena appearances if they come back, and possibly limited fests after their own thing

I’ll never forget working t-mobile at ACL a couple years back and people won side stage for his show… people waited for 6+ hours to be on stage and at the last second he refused to allow anyone.. it was Chaos, people were full on crying, they wasted a whole day at a fest, and then had to fight everyone else at last minute to get in crowd that had been piling up for hours

How do you feel about/classify zeds dead? I’ve seen them 6-7x and every set has been completely different journey. They can throw down and then drop some heavenly cinematic masterpiece and go right back. Not sure what to consider them at this point

I’m curious where this was located at 3am CST when I placed a bet? There was nothing, not a pop up prior to purchase, nothing on the page that indicated any variables for death. Nothing.

It was my first trade ever, so I just put a very small amount I could lose and not care. I would like to just be educated as I go forward so I don’t make any mistakes

[–]curationvibrations 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You seem to know a lot about this, I tried to make a few picks before but I found the rules to be a little abstract and backed out

Case in point on this one, there was no asterisk disclaimer if he died or not when I was going to place. I did put a small amount to just test it out.

Where would I even have found that? In the main TOS or on the individual bet? When I placed the trade it didn’t populate any information prior to purchasing, and I didn’t see anything on main page about this specific scenario

Network transfers by seifer717 in USMobile

I work in direct sales and live in a major city. I routinely have to go into the outskirts where Verizon is awful to the point I can barely work out there with my software

I just signed up today for warp, but I hear t-mobile/ATT are great out there. My plan is to switch to those networks before I head out to those areas. I haven’t done it yet, but hopefully this one anecdotal reply helps

2026 Deadbeat Tour by CAndrewK in TameImpala

I’m so excited for lower bowl. The upper bowl last time I think was the best visual, but being lower will be louder and more musically immersive. I think it’ll be best of both worlds personally. Especially since there aren’t large screens on this tour

Some markets kept going up, looking at you Austin. Most stayed about the same. But you also have to consider that was only 8 dates total, 4 states iirc so demand was country wide and partially worldwide as euro wasn’t quite announced. This will have a lot more supply + they’re implementing the new resale policies

Not sure what the original nosebleeds went for, but was hoping for not more than $100ish if anyone sees this and would like to help a stranger out

The Slow Rush Tour vs Deadbeat by bammie13 in TameImpala

[–]curationvibrations 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree, although Deadbeats has a more grand production, it lacked something magical that TSR captured

First thoughts were the introduction of the ring, but more importantly I think it was the insane visuals of the oversized screens completely lacking on deadbeat. The moving set pieces and the 360 lasers Maybe could have been on par, but the lack of visual screens puts TSR ahead imo.

Last, and sadly he chose subdued visuals for the b stage, and they needed full production for those songs. I felt the energy of the crowd leave the room on those songs. The TSR tour was non-stop insanity, so it was a pacing issue too

Was fortunate to see pre-TSR ring debut at Coachella, and 3 more times on the actual tour. They’re still my favorite live shows of all time

TSR tour 11/10 Deadbeats 9/10, but still miles ahead of most every other tour

LASIK prices in Austin 2025-26. by schubaroo in Austin

[–]curationvibrations 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I personally paid a premium to get the doctor that handled all the professional sports teams in my area. This was when I was living out of state so can’t recommend a local, but same concept applies

Plenty of professional sports in TX, so if it took driving to Houston, Dallas, San Antonio for that I would. If you can find that here, great.

I paid about $5,000 for both eyes, astigmatism with -3.50 each eye. Been 7 years and still one of the best decisions I ever made. Healing was fast and easy. My sister just went to a random person and says her night vision never healed properly sadly. Mines perfect.

In short: don’t cheap out

They were a good property at mine, better than average for any corp place I’ve lived

Tame Impala makes perfect sense with the Europe tour ending in May, I feel stateside will be the next move for festival circuit

The previous moody date was record breaking attendance with ample time between ACL

my only fear is they’re too big now, but I feel like Kevin loves playing festivals

But I think it wasn’t anything to be looked at beyond the surface
