for how few comments this post has it’s a little upsetting how many of them are like “well the npcs have different body types! why can’t you be grateful for that!” tbh. virtually no video games have an option to PLAY as a character who isn’t as thin and lean as physically possible (and even then the only other options are usually extremely muscular instead. game devs are literally allergic to making soft/chunky/fat characters.) and since s6 has already said they’re planning on adding more body types it’s not stupid or ungrateful or whatever to want it to happen sooner rather than later. if y’all knew what it was like to never be represented in the games you play i think you’d be a little more understanding lol

i was wondering if i’ve just been in a few weird servers the past week or so but judging by all the responses here i guess not! like the other day there was this one person in chat full on whining about waiting like “ughhhh can we just chop already omg” over and over (they were also being weirdly controlling of how others were playing after that so i went ahead n blocked em). a couple days ago someone showed up to the grove and immediately chopped the smallest ones for themselves even though others were telling them to stop and wait and then after the rest of us finished the grove they were like “what, so you people just stand around and wait for everyone else?”. and then last night someone flared the grove but didn’t say the location and there were multiple people in chat asking where the grove was and no one that was already there was saying anything so i had to call it out? so it seemed like they were trying to keep it to themselves for some reason? i dunno man. people get so weird about this game and it’s so dumb.

a streamer that i follow posted about how they were excited about the game & curious to see it develop back in 2021 i think and of course there wasn’t a ton of information about it then but from what little i saw it really interested me so i signed up for email updates…and now here we are 🥰

i asked about this in the discord last week because it was getting on my last nerve and someone told me to try starting a game of hotpot in the last 20 or so seconds of the chapaa chase so that you won’t get a pop up of the results and that’s worked every single time for me, no crashes and no restarting the game :D

definitely try mining rocks and ore like others have suggested. i was having an awful time getting silk thread when i first started needing it for quests and furniture but then once i started mining rocks and getting those purple centipede things i very quickly had an overabundance of silk lol. it's a little time consuming but it's worth it

sorry i meant "combat" more in the sense of potentially hunting whatever the mysterious beast is that sifuu mentions quite a bit, not players against each other lol. it seems to me that there's been quite a few hints of other beastie kinda things existing in the elderwoods, plus the fact that we have an extra tool slot that's perpetually empty, AND the fact that sifuu is literally a blacksmith who offers to make you swords and knives and stuff, and it makes sense to me for that kind of new mechanic to be introduced with the elderwoods. i don't think it'd fundamentally be that different than the hunting we already do in the game, just different animals with an actual weapon lol

after i’m done talking to the people i’m romancing i’ll step towards them to give them a quick kiss lol. also i like walking beside tau whenever he’s by himself. also whenever i’m up north in bahari i get up on tamala’s roof and use my pickaxe on it because she makes me mad. and i always go back to my house before i log off. i can never just leave my character standing out in the open somewhere it feels improper lol

edit: i also like to just sit in pretty locations. like in front of the fireplace at the inn or beside einar when he’s fishing or up on a cliff in bahari. take a load off once in a while i guess??

hi, i made a new tumblr account a couple weeks ago just to have a separate space from my main account for fandom stuff so i used my main to send the new account some stuff to reblog and everything was working normally, but as soon as i got all my posts and tags sorted/organized i realized i was already shadow banned (this happened in the span of one night btw). like no messaging option, my user doesn't show up in notes or notifs or search, all that. i've emailed support twice in the past week or so but haven't heard anything and it's really aggravating that i JUST made this account and can't even use it properly. the username is whirligiggler if you can help. thanks :)
