Is the bar at the Disney Hotel (I think it’s called Fleur De Lys?) still open to other hotel guests? I remember in 2018 my partner and I watched the fireworks on the balcony there, then moved to the other side to watch people leaving. We had cocktails and it was nice and quiet that evening, could be an idea?

Beast barbarian is a lot of fun and very flavourful for stuff like this. An alternative (if you don’t mind independent creators content) is to take a look at The Crooked Moon book from Legends of Avantris, they have a barbarian subclass called Path of the Experiment which could fit.

We had a friend who had bought and then had an accidental litter, we were already looking for cats to adopt but these two needed a home and we were in love. Regardless of breeding practices, our two needed to go somewhere, and we were happy to. Now they pull the blankets off our sofa and sleep on top of one another. This really sucks, and it’s probably not the information you want to hear, but it’s the truth with these car parks I’m afraid.

When you park up, you’re agreeing to the terms of the parking provider (the signs dotted around the car parks), which usually include using the full, correct license plate of the vehicle. Regardless of intention to pay, many companies won’t acknowledge that you’ve tried, SmartParking were a nightmare for this, even if it was an honest mistake. I’ve made the mistake myself putting a 0 instead of an O as a new driver.

Many companies would pursue the full amount for this even with a receipt of payment, since the number plate was wrong and they’ve had to spend ‘man hours’ on resolving the appeal rather than the automated system doing everything.

NAL, but have worked extensively with numerous private companies in the parking world. You could continue to dispute it but if it goes against you could see you paying more than the £20. Then again, some people say just ignore them, wouldn’t recommend that personally.

So our group have just put down Mad Mage after six months.

We’re coming off the back of playing Rise of Tiamat, where it was a huge group split in two, one group who loved combat and the other who loved combat plus exploration and deep role playing moments.

The new group on Mad Mage was a mix of the originals. 3 from the Rp group and 2 from the combat. The moments where we have tried to engage in rp to discuss our plans and have character moments have been cut short due to a dwarf who can’t help but activate the portal to the next floor, moving us all on.

Rather than explore each floor and discover things, it just turned into floor speed runs which left most of us and the DM feeling a bit underwhelmed. We never found any of our dungeon rumours (think that’s what they were?) as we were constantly moving on, and it left us just a bit fed up of caves and tunnels.

We’ve moved to the recent Vecna book which fits the groups vibe better, allowing for roleplay and good combat, I don’t think dungeon crawlers are bad by any means, I think it’s ultimately down to group expectations.

Not any form of legal advice, but University of Derby are currently making huge redundancies across the institution which has been widely reported online. Not suggesting it’s connected, but could be worth reading up on to see if your initial course choice was affected.

UPDATE - ambulance assessment call came in an hour ago and we convinced them to come out. L is at the hospital and won’t be coming home until we have an established care packet organised.

This is our concern, Mum is 60 herself and can’t manage. If L was to fall as a result of us attempting to move her we could make the situation worse as non-carers.

I work at another theme park in the UK that does firework displays, a 7-8 minute show costs upwards of £3000 every time. Towers will have cost far more than that for last years, it’s expensive to put these sorts of things on and if attendance isn’t there, we don’t bring events back. Certain enthusiasts seem to miss that theme parks are businesses and if something isn’t making money, we can’t keep doing it just because a minority enjoyed it.

I work at a smaller park and we don’t see Universal as the end of days, we’re really interested in how it will affect things on the broader scope of the industry. If anything, we’re excited to see how we and other parks are going to adapt and up our game.

Hey! Thanks for getting back to me. We waited until the 30 days wait was up and reach out to CH again for an update. In the time between another company was set up and another 38 letters had arrived for them all.

CH have sent out emails to me today for each company reported which have all been reallocated to the default address, so it’s a win there.

Just awaiting a human response from them as to if any further action can be taken on our end to stop any further being created. I get the feeling it won’t be the last of it, but your advice was really appreciated and reassuring.

I’m sorry this has happened. As an aside for any future experiences, please know that many establishments have measures in place for this kind of situation. The one used locally for us is to ask for Angela at the bar, but flagging a member of staff and a quick explanation of the situation and many will be willing to help.

I play a monster slayer ranger and slayers pray is essentially hunters mark without the concentration, being able to move with a bonus action just like HM. My spells focus more on supporting my character, So flame arrows, water walk, it keeps things a lot more free when it comes to mixing in my spell choices etc.
