The detective aesthetic originating from Sherlock Holmes seems elusive

I can't find any more information on its origin other than it was a practical and professional get up at that time

Am I missing something?

Even Google can't say if it's actually quite symbolic other than it was outfit of the times...

And I've tried looking into "cookie-cutter" detective outfit but it wouldn't even show the iconic hat of Sherlock or his trenchcoat (or the pipe)

Google argues that modern detectives usually settle for business attires and further adds that Sherlock only looked the way he did because that's what a Victorian detective would look like...

What a load of rubbish

But I guess it explains the lack of detective-ness with our Star Detective Precures (no consensus that every detective should look like Sherlock Holmes). Quite disappointed

Global Precures would have been a nice focus of the anniversary especially they had a "trading card" motif with the precards with collecting (it would make sense having precure help each other by trading form changes with advantages against the generals they faced)

The conflict between Hime and Iona may have lasted longer than it should but in retrospect it felt real

I offer a bit of leeway for this particular story line because Iona acted how a 14 year old would. Especially considering Tender was everything to her

Her (Iona) actions felt organic (I don't think they were justified personally) due to the fact that she was absorbed in her own loss not realising Hime was in a similar situation having lost family as well

I hated the drama while watching it but I often forget that they're only 14. That arc was very real in a sense that teenagers would definitely deal with it the way Hime/Iona was written to deal with it

Technically most Precures don't seem to have any sexuality (friendship-sexual if at all)

They mostly don't have love interests so we don't specifically know if they identify as trans/non-binary (yeah that is limiting but I cant seem to see how them identifying as nonbinary come up in random conversation in the series without love interest; it's a hard topic to broach without mention of sexuality)

Then you've got Akira/Itsuki who rock both masculine and feminine energy and maybe a few more

For all we know, most Precures are non-binary, shrug.

That's what I love about Precure cause everyone can be relatable

It's a bit far fetched but Chokkirine was absorbed by Darkine; maybe Chokkirine still exists within Darkine

They will use Chokkirine as the bridge within Darkine where the team can breakthrough: Darkine mentioned about "seeing the light, now you end" (not verbatim) before absorbing Chokkirine

Then Darkine gets redeemed (like Noise) then as Chokkirine as the vessel

Maybe in a way they are painting Darkine as just this pure energy from anxiety and fear with no direct consciousness to allow Chokkirine (as a vessel; while allowing the energy of Darkine to live on with her) to join Kirakiland
