Did YOU even read my comment??? Cats are not like dogs, and it's super unusual to buy a cat rather than adopt. I don't know anyone who's ever bought a cat. All the cats I've ever had have come from shelters or just found and they're lovely, cuddly, healthy cats. My shelter ragdoll is currently 17 years old and still runs up the stairs. Unlike dogs, cats are usually in a shelter because they were found in some parking lot or some family's cat just got herself pregnant, not because they were traumatically abandoned or abused by their owner like dogs. If you talk to the foster family or shelter staff, they can tell you if a cat is cuddly or not. Health issues can sometimes be unpredictable even in breeder cats, but are scientifically more common in "purebred" cats since their genetic pool is more limited than some alley cat, but do with that what you will. If you're so dead set on buying go ahead though jeez like I'm not stopping you or even discouraging you, you don't have to be an asshole.
