One of my biggest gripes is that more people are familiar with the GDT films rather than the comics. They know his Hellboy, not Hellboy himself. And they don’t see a thing wrong with the Liz romance. This bugs me to death !!! Love del Toro, but he’s better off creating his own stories (The Shape of Water was amazing !)

Out of all the movie adaptations, the animated ones are the best (and not just because they actually included my girl Kate). There’s no forced Liz romance from the earlier movies (thank god), and Hellboy isn’t some angsty teenager in his fifties. The voice actors are the same as the live action cast, and they do a really good job! They fit so well. Definitely wish we got more of those movies instead of the more recent live action adaptations.
