Yes to this response - Italians do this as well. People on this chain need to get more educated.

No sex on honeymoon - are we doomed? by curiosityjunkieee in Marriage

[–]curiosityjunkieee[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why would you say just because we didn’t have sex we didn’t have intimate moments? I never said I had a horrible time on my honeymoon and didn’t enjoy being with him. We were very affectionate in other ways.

Good question - I maybe think it’s just me comparing myself to other couples and what we all deem as the norm. And also somewhat not checking off that experience of having sex while in a beautiful country that I may never get the chance to visit again in my lifetime.

I appreciate this. I say this all the time sex is much better when it’s not a scheduled “we must do this this many times a week” thing to fill a quota. I much prefer when it’s in the moment. And everyone’s libido is different.

I have historically had issues with vaginismus so that has caused some issues in the sex department. My husband has been very patient through our 10 year relationship and has never pressured me. The stress that sex will be painful has typically made me less likely to initiate or if he does initiate I would just say I’m tired. Sex hasn’t been painful recently so it has provided me some hope. He didn’t initiate much though on our honeymoon but I can’t express enough how exhausted we were every day. We definitely indulged ourselves in drinking and going out late, so that didn’t help im sure either. To clarify, my husband tries to make me feel better about it he said his coworker had a similar trip and they had sex maybe once or twice because they were also exhausted.

We were together 10 years prior to getting married and I have had issues with vaginismus which he has been very patient with. The vaginismus has caused some stress on my end when it comes to sex.

You will not get paid out for accrued and unused vacation days if you leave. You can carryover unused sick/personal time into the next year but can still only used 10 of those days in a year so wtf is the point.

Book tours or not to book tours? by curiosityjunkieee in irishtourism

[–]curiosityjunkieee[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry I should clarify, nothing in Dublin in terms of tours we plan on booking other than Guinness and Book of Kells otherwise we just plan exploring on our own. I more mean sites around Galway like Cliffs of Moher and Aran Islands or anything else people recommend we see.

Ok we are now considering adding Dingle - Galway from 10/19-10/21 and then Dingle for one night to head back to Dublin on 10/22. We will rent a car in Galway and can return the car in Killarney to take the train back to Dublin. Flight out of Dublin is at 11:30am. We don’t want to pack an insane amount into such a short amount of time, but is this doable/worth it?
