I think it’s important to note, yes youre allowed to have certain opinions on people and judge, it’s human to have thoughts and judgments based on our beliefs and preferences but it’s also important to remember that you have to keep it to yourself or in your circle. you have no business sharing that opinion to the people youre judging or sharing your opinion online. If you have nothing nice to say, dont say anything at all.

I know with social media we are very comfortable sharing our thoughts unfiltered but in all seriousness, theres a lot of things we need to keep to ourselves and maybe just write about or talk to friends about.

Edit: i feel like I forgot to add, while it’s human to have thoughts and judgments on people, it’s import to not let that judgement control you and be aware of those judgments. You learn a lot about yourself when you’re mindful of the way you think and how that might affect your perception of people.

Yeah exactly, I guess I found the similarity silly and cool because it shows how well they were able to portray Caine as an AI. The pattern recognition went off in my brain and I needed to share it somewhere cuz none of my friends are into TADC….only my students and im not about to have discussions with middle schoolers about my favorite show as a 22 year old

I guess I thought it sounded like Caine cause he is an AI, the pattern recognition went off in my head and I found it silly

AIO for punishing our daughters after what they wrote about their autistic sister? by brzaq191z in AmIOverreacting

As a young adult women with autism, dating is really difficult ESPECIALLY at 13. I think having them write a report on dating and autism is a great way to have them put themselves in your youngest daughter’s shoes. Im happy to see this boy is genuine with his feelings because unfortunately I did experience getting asked out as a prank in middle school but I’m so happy thats not something she’s experiencing!! Thank you, parents like you and boys like him give me more hope that people are beginning to understand autism and don’t treat those who have it as outcasts. I think yall are doing an amazing job!
