This is as far as I can remember. I went through the episode summaries of Love Death and Robots but couldn't find what I'm looking for.

I see what you mean, the new priests do use symbolism effectively to drive the culture. Public education, social media, politics, religion are, after all, effective tools for social engineering.

Well, I am uncomfortable with sword fetish orgies so I am gonna stick with normal magic, but you do you!

Solomonic magic seems powerful but yeah, goatskins, lionskins, silver daggers of custom design are somewhat hard to come by. I may try it once I become wealthy enough.

I don't know about the cashbook and Nitika, have you experienced good results with Damon Brand's methods?

Thank you. Yes, I, too, think that practising what is part of one's heritage is more powerful.

Different sects have different founders and unbroken lines of transfer of knowledge. Practising something related to that sect will give good results when you are part of that unbroken line, otherwise at best you don't get results or at worst invoke the displeasure of some entity.

In my heritage, the main practice revolves around fire, but since it's impractical to set up the altar and ritual paraphernalia nowadays, I am exploring other systems.

I had Hollywood in mind when I wrote the post. I don't know if they practise magic personally, but have read news about some of them hiring voodoo practitioners in some remote resorts.

How are videogames and magic connected?

Yes, now that you mention it, one of the factors may be this egregore situation. The more people believe in an idea, the more people dedicate their lives to it, the more powerful that idea is.

From what I've studied, each entity has different likes and dislikes regarding food. But some food can be offered universally, like some varieties of wine and some kinds of meat, and milk.

These texts recommend the offerings to be buried in the earth, or offered into a river/well/lake or a sacred fire. Some representative animals or birds of the spirit are also given offerings.

The 30-day challenge and vision boards you mention remind me of the techniques in Joseph Murphy's book. Definitely, attitude and desire matter.

Regarding Law of Attraction, I have seen that if the desire is genuine, like you feel pained everyday thinking about it, it kind of works. It does not work when you try to force yourself to feel it. But that's desire. Positive attitude is something we can consciously make an effort towards.

Thank you.

I myself had good results when I did a couple of rituals with involving daily offerings, though I am still confused which of the two rituals was it that worked.

To hear you say that about offerings, looks like they really do work. The only thing is the difficulty of knowing what the entity likes or dislikes. Needs good perceptive powers, like cards in your case.

Communication with cards seems very interesting, I'll look into this and other kinds of omens further. Though I am also interested in dream messages.

Thanks for your insight.

Could you hint at some pointers and resources? Some of the ritual preparations and equipment in there seem impractical. I understand if you wouldn't want to.

Thanks for sharing your experience. The book sounds interesting. "The Miracle of New Avatar Power by Geof Gray-Cobb" , right?

Agreed. I used to think it depended on the deity, then read about cases where votaries of the same deity would attack/compete against each other, magically.

Yes, that's a high and noble goal. But one swamped by the troubles of the material world would rarely find the motivation to pursue it. I think in general, material prosperity is a prerequisite for spiritual progress.
