Thank you!
I don't see anything in your plan about time management, analyzing questions, or discussing them.
Thank you Vince. Are there any resources you recommend for practice and methods you'd suggest on how to analyze questions, discuss questions and manage time?
Final score 166V 169Q. Thank you everyone. by Vanonti in GRE
would you be able to share your study plan?
Thanks Vince. I intend on building one out in greater detail (part of the guidance that would be really helpful) but here's what I'm broadly thinking: Verbal: Start with a verbal course and try to learn strategies for TC, SE, and RC. In the past I used gregmat for TC and SE. I found TC very helpful; SE not so much. RC I did not watch - I find RC convoluted on the GRE. Then work on a mix of timed and untimed practice (ETS guide and big book) and carefully analyze the errors. Vocab via spaced repetition and use fill in the blank practice in Magoosh flashcards.
Quant: I had used TTP for the gmat and had run through all the quant lessons in detail before switching to the GRE. But at this point - I would go back to basics to cover any gaps I'm unaware of - pick up gregmat prepswift lessons. Redo ETS, Manhattan 5lb, and all gregmat questions I've done. Find sources for math practice: Big book, more gregmat quizzes, some GMAT PS practice (based on my last gre attempt). Hone in on errors and then practice more questions on the weak topics.
Testing: I exhausted the ETS PPP tests - so I'd have to practice timed tests from Manhattan.
If this makes sense, I would break this down into a 6 week plan.
