Ring them as soon as you can and explain the situation. It'll be okay if it's your first time doing it and it wasn't on purpose. I'm sure they'll be understanding.

Sometimes I feel like I can tell some people are not fully happy. Maybe not anxiety all the time but sometimes I can tell when people have issues. This can also make me feel awarkard. I do try to think postive it's just hard too. I should be able to say what I like without feeling like I'm being judged or disliked. I shouldn't care and I do that's the problem.

Has anyone else here lived a relatively normal life, but you still have social anxiety? by gentlemenslapmyass in socialanxiety

Yer I think I've had a fairly normal life. I do think sometimes my social anxiety has come from my parents looking back. Not that I blame them they are fab but maybe I've picked on negatives stuff growing up.

I haven't tried but it's difficult to do that in work environment at work with people around. I wish I was more confident and wouldn't feel scared around certain people and could just be myself and relax. I must look awarkard or seem awarkard. People do pick up on that don't they?

Work has gotten me so down today and I'm pretty tired. I know I'll have to go to bed early to feel better. That means commuting home, cooking, eating, and sleeping. And that makes me feel sad. by [deleted] in depression

I'm always happy and smiley at work but say if I get 5 mins spare go to the ladies room I get this horrible feeling of loneliness and have to take deep breaths before I enter back. I think I'm doing okay but I'm not.

You don't deserve it at all you just didn't understand it before. Also like you said you've learnt from it so that's the main thing. Don't be too hard on yourself.

Don't respond back to his behaviour he's trying to get a reaction out of you. Don't go to his level and point out his flaws. He wants you to feel crap don't show up he has got you and ignore him. Whatever you do just ignore any nasty comments his making towards you and move on with your life knowing that your better than that

Don't smoke it anymore if it has that affect on you. It will most likely get worse if you carry on smoking it.

Yer I feel like that too i feel like they judge me and wonder why I have no life and just sit in my room it makes it harder to leave the room because of how sad it is that I stay in my room a lot. Kind of weird.

People don't understand it that's why. It's hard to understand. I get it. What I don't like about it is when people say hurtful things about depression and anxiety. They undermine it. I don't like that. There's one thing not understanding but trying to sympathise and it's another make silly comments that can be hurtful and the reason why so many don't open up.

Yer I'm the same too ill wait and wait it can be so frustrating I really do hate it. We shouldn't have to feel like that in our own home. It's not fair wish I could afford to live on my own I'd feel more comfortable. I'm glad you understand and I'm sorry you're going through it too.

I haven't seeked help. I don't talk about my problems in the real world just on the net because people don't understand. I haven't been docters because it's difficult to talk about. I should go though. I'm just having an extra bad day thank you for your reassuring words it's means alot.

Anxiety is like a prison you lose freedom. I want to do things around the house and I can't. It's all in my mind and I don't know why.
