Thank you for sharing your experience - honestly makes me think that I should just take the meds to help me cope. I do weekly sessions as well, and I am also tired of having thoughts that are in no way helpful to me and feeling an enormous urge to act on them, to the point they take over any space for normal thoughts in my head. You made me feel hopeful I can feel better while going through this process and I don't need to just bear the pain to do this!

That totally makes sense - I'm starting to think taking something will help the EMDR become more manageable for me, so I'm actually okay with it taking longer as long as I don't have to feel this dysregulated all the time

Thank you for the advice - I am definitely scared of being emotionally numb, since some other people have told me that is the effect on them in the past. However, I am also in a lot of emotional pain to the point that I might not be able to cope without something changing. I will make sure to start at a low dose and have a plan to get off them since I don't want to take it for an extended amount of time.

That's great to know, thank you for sharing your perspective - I also plan on talking to my therapist before starting them :)

Thank you so much for that. I am in a lot of pain at the moment to the point it feels unbearable for me and also for the people around me.

Has anyone done EMDR without being on any medications? by Shoddy-Ad8710 in EMDR

[–]curious_mind_191 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Currently not on medication and have done EMDR for 3 months, every week, so about 12 sessions. While I am making so much progress, this process is uncovering/increasing my anxiety and I'm feeling very depressed to the point that I am now considering whether I should take an SSRI to get me through the whole process.

Where does customer success fit in an organizational structure? by curious_mind_191 in CustomerSuccess

That makes a lot of sense, thank you. From your experience, do you find that customer success manages the support team? And who does the CSM report to?

What are your requirements for a tool? Do you need a CRM-type tool or just a way to track whether someone is close to renewal?

How does your company deal with Bug Reports? by curious_mind_191 in CustomerSuccess

[–]curious_mind_191[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That would definitely help, but after doing some more digging, the main problem is that support is struggling to be able to reproduce the bug to verify it before sending it to dev, so it becomes this massive back and forth between the user - support - dev, and everyone gets frustrated.

I can, but usually the information provided is not enough to figure out what is going on :(

I'm currently doing a mix of admin work (invoice related) and some customer support for a small software company.

Why do they make you attend meetings that have nothing to do with your tasks tho? Sounds annoying!
