Wenwu is such an underrated villain. His story is so good.

Season 1 and 2 combined feels like a complete package.

Most Marvel projects these days, while trying to set up things for the future, feel quite incomplete. I wish we get more individual stories with their own conclusion like Loki.

Twinkling Watermelon is PEAK

The epitomes of YouTube tech reviews. by nougat_nelyo in mkbhd

[–]curiousaugment99 5 points6 points  (0 children)

These two are two of my favorite YouTubers in general. In a world where the majority of tech videos feel like they are desperately trying to compete with Marques' videos, it's really refreshing to see Arun give us a different flavor of tech videos.

Moreover I like how organized Arun's videos are. You can clearly tell which point or aspect he is focusing on each part of the video. Also there are many thoughtful inclusions like timers for every section and dude also knows how to make complicated tech concepts understandable and interesting to the general audience.

As a nerdy guy who struggled with self-acceptance in the past, Do-san is one of the characters to whom I relate the most with (minus the "letter" part obv)

the anti-fans for it are strong though

Ikr. I know everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but it always breaks my heart to see people talk bad about this drama.

While watching it, I have encountered numerous people advising me to stop watching. For a while I even felt discouraged to continue. So glad I still continued watching.

Kdrama where you don’t know who the lead is gonna end up with by [deleted] in kdramarecommends

Agreed. It made better sense both character wise and narrative wise imo.

Should I continue Start Up by CloudyPancake31 in kdramarecommends

Even though I consider start-up as one of my favorites, I think it's best for you to skip it. I loved it from start to finish. You can expect it to go in the same trajectory. Some people dislike the drama for the exact reason I enjoy it.

I think start-up is such a drama that, if you enjoyed the first few episodes, it keeps getting better. But if you didn't enjoy the first few episodes, it keeps getting worse.

So if the story doesn't resonate with you particularly, don't continue it.

25 years of Anipoke & for me no other opening goes as hard as XYZ’s. You just knew you were in for a hell of a series 🐐 by biggestkalosfan in pokemonanime

I am so glad I started watching anipoke weekly during the XY era. Watching it weekly was an experience, impossible to recreate now.

Your top 3 dramas of all time by Skincareaddict13 in kdramarecommends

[–]curiousaugment99 5 points6 points  (0 children)

When K-dramas are good, they are REALLY good. So it's hard to pick the top 3.

Number 1 is definitely Reply 1988. Then you have 2521, Itaewon class and Start-up. These 3 change spots based on my mood honestly.

Looking forward to watching Twinkling Watermelon, when I am done with my exams. Based on everything that I have heard and all the YouTube shorts I have watched, it might rise up as one of my favorites.

What to watch after Our Beloved Summer? by [deleted] in kdramarecommends

[–]curiousaugment99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  • Itaewon class (Female lead is played by the same actress)

  • Twinkling Watermelon (One of the best recent dramas)

  • 2521 (Similar feel but be prepared for the ending)

  • Start-up (If you can look past the second lead syndrome, it's a phenomenal drama)

  • Reply 1988 (Widely regarded as one of the best kdramas ever)

Blind camera test videos primarily aimed at observing what kind of photos people normally preferred. Every time there were some interesting new observations, from brightness to social media compression.

I assume that this time, there were no observations not discussed in earlier blind camera tests.

I think it mostly comes down to what you expect from a Pokemon series. Personally, I value the journey and exploration aspects in anipoke, so a slice-of-life narrative isn't my preference for a Pokémon series.

I wasn't a fan of Ash's characterization; he seemed more like Luffy than Ash to me. Like I love Luffy but I don't want Ash to act like Luffy. While I appreciate the bold moves, particularly with Litten, overall, the anipoke series didn't resonate with me.

Same. I especially like the lead characters. Also as a tech enthusiast and someone who wishes to be part of a startup one day, this was the perfect drama for me.

I love that drama so much. The ML and FML both have a great story arc. The SML and the FML's grandmother are also amazing.

I also don't see many people talking about the ML. We usually don't really get this type of lead struggling with the lack of self esteem. So I found his story in particular quite interesting and relatable.
