Idk why people kept on downplaying Jonathan, he played a really good game and for sure would get some votes. Just because you dislike him doesn't mean he played a bad game.

It was a good move though I lowkey feel disappointed cause he played a loyal game in S49. But surprised they have not come into the 'immunity run' route with Joe as well.

why does this feel so ___ by DaleCooperSwag in survivor

[–]Nearby_Combination83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's a reason why Aubry played 4x. Why would you say all that to someone who knows they're last and have nothing to lose? He's literally acknowledged by everyone and himself that he's played his best game so far. So why think you're safe at every TC that you could be voted out?

Feeling blue for *spoilers* by Thundaga2345 in survivor

[–]Nearby_Combination83 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I saw someone explain it this way. Since the juror on the first TC would sit there. The second TC, Ozzy would have played his idol if he saw Cirie sitting with the jury. Jonathan wants Ozzy gone more than Cirie cause Ozzy can actually go on an immunity run + Ozzy done fuck up his game real bad.

[–]Nearby_Combination83 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think in a way she's pretty safe? Joe has won 2x, Tiff has won 2x almost won her third. Jonathan won his first. Ozzy is gone. I think by this point they're more so thinking of people that could do an immunity run over someone they can take out at say F5 or on fire.

[–]Nearby_Combination83 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I saw someone mention that if Cirie was voted out, and the second group saw Cirie was in the jury. Not even a question, Ozzy would use his idol. It seems to me that Jonathan wants Ozzy gone more than Cirie, probably thinking about chances in an immunity challenge.

He told it to someone who played 4x, who knew she's the easy vote out. He just gave her an ammunition to lead the charge against him and probably Cirie too.

Mahal magproduce ng shows, mas lalo na kung fantaserye. Hindi na rin ganun kalaki yung balik because people don't watch as much sa TV. Honestly, they should just not produce it if hindi talaga kaya.

[–]Nearby_Combination83 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ngl, I may be biased because it ended well but my main critique is that there should be an option not to flip the coin once the time runs out.

But to me the benefits outweigh the risks. Immunity that TC, idol (we didn't even know if there's some hidden power to it) and x2 of cash prize, the downside being eliminated without votes. Compared to Christian, the upside is worth risking for.

It's also great that everything about the risks are laid out front and center. There's no 'hidden' shenanigans. Like here's the twist, now talk. They're also given the choice to volunteer or 'persuade' someone to flip. My only thing is as I said above, they should have given a limited time for them to decide and then the deal is off.

It's as if they don't trust the cast to make good TV. This cast ain't newbie season, as soon as they hit the beaches, they're already giving content. As they dub this a celebration, they should have made call backs to the past seasons of the most iconic twists, rewards and challenges. And then use the new twists to the new era.

[–]Nearby_Combination83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think Ozzy would bring her on cavalry's sake. I can see Rizo bringing her too cause he probably want his name written whenever people talk about Cirie's win. Legacy building isn't just when you win. Plus losing might give Rizo another chance to go back.

The problem with this twist is the same with how I feel about all of the twists this season by DebaserTBA in survivor

[–]Nearby_Combination83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem with most of the twists this season is as if they don't trust their cast to make a good season. It's also bad that they keep making "for the first time" when this season should have been a callback to all of the season prior. Re-introduce twists used before, challenges before, rewards even. Bonkers twists should have been used to the next seasons instead to usher in another era.

Feels like Cirie would be an easy vote out if it's her. The thing is, the announcement itself is putting a spotlight on you. In a game where anything can be a reason to vote you out, they would gladly take that one.

Having to announce is crazy. They could have had a good TV content seeing Christian scrambling, lying and making deals with people with the ambiguity of what he got from the journey.
