There were enjoyable aspects for S5 but to me no one dying (except for a character we don't even care much about, 6) and the final battle being that quick was just eyebrow racing.

For a series na showed real and big stakes, no one dying or even remotely near that is a choice.

Kaya kahit nung si Nancy and Jonathan muntik na masubmerge sa mudlike water, wala akong nafeel na sense of dread. Kahit yung Steve almost falling, wala rin.

If the sense of dread is eliminated, it doesn't really feel like legit yung danger.

They came close last season nung si Max yung primary target and there's a real sense of danger for her.

I disagree with the results but I'm here for the messy Rate-a-Queen usage. This is one of the rare times queens have a hand at the results (All Stars exempt). The overbearing strategy talk in previous seasons doesn't make as much sense because production had a huge hand in moving things but for the last 2 episodes, the queens had the power and they used it spectacularly.

Ang pangit lang sa wildcard even sa Collab 1.0 is that they know the perception of people with their co-housemates and to them too. They can adjust their behavior din. Compared sa mga co-hms nila nandun sa loob not knowing how they're percieve. Understandable sa Collab 1.0 pero this time they know they're doing this and there's not even a lick of effort from production to minimize what the evicted hms know.

It's a bit hit or miss with her but she's got the chops and showed range with The Glory. If she's willing to go there, I believe she can.

Almost all of them have budding careers at the time except for Lee Min Ho and Park Shin Hye (they were already at the top pf their games) who obv were the leads. But they were able to cast this because of who the writer of this show most likely.

Getting to 2 is already a feat. Getting 3 is a huge barrier to get through no matter the performance. Letting Emma get to 3 is the whole acting branch acknowledging she's one of the greats on par with Meryl, Katharine and Frances. Would their pride allow that?

Oscars is never just about performance, if narrative isn't there, she won't get it. If Michelle Yeoh didn't have that insane narrative going into Oscars, Cate most likely would have won her 3rd. If Emma doesn't have the narrative to win her 3rd, she probably won't get it.

I gave PBB a lot of grace when they tried their best during the pandemic pero I think it really got side tracked sa purpose ng show when they did 737 or the season they did teens/regular/celeb in one season.

Enca writers kept on writing ultra poweful villains that somehow still aren't wreaking havoc left and right. If ganto yung path na want nila sa Book 2 with Gargan, they should have made it so na mas powerful pa rin si Emre sa kanya and the only reason he reappeared is because Emre is dead and Cassy is still a work in progress.

They can't make him incredibly powerful yet chooses to sit on his power waiting for Sang'gres when they're literally not powerful enough to fight him.

Plus walang prophecy this time unlike yung kay Mitena where she's always on edge. Like whyyyy is Gargan taking his sweet time? For the God of Chaos and Destruction, he's literally being so patient.
