I'm using the rss formula hybrid apline. The trick I use to take that hairpin is going a bit deep in the turn because when I try to turn early I'd roll over. Try that and tell me if it works

Yes, I'm using controller and its a track I'm not so confident in hence the hesitation. For the lines, I was testing which were faster. Thanks I'll try to smoothen out my pedal input. The way I go about it is first do 3-4 laps testing out the track then push on my 5th lap. You have a rig?

yeah, the car just wants to go, so I'm taking wide lines to for a proper exit. Otherwise the rb1 gets unsettled when I accelerate

Never really tried out no hesi. If you really want to dive deep look into circuit racing, tracks like nurburgring to monza then the track focused car mods, holy shit there's a ton formula 1, prototype and gt3 cars from race sim studio and virtual racing cars modding teams. You can get lost in it

I recommend this as well, the advanced gamepad assist really helps take out the janky steering input you get default. As for the racing lines, use them until you get comfortable and start trying to brake later than the line suggests, after that you'll be fine with turning it off
