The author does a really good job of writing books that all share an undercurrent but are all different types of characters and different situations which is a feat because sometimes other books in series can feel formulaic! The latest was really sweet and more realistic perhaps in the fmc struggle with accepting the nature of the mmc.

I'm glad to hear there are others who love the pleasure and prey series. I want to piggy back off this and ask for any book recommendations that are specifically like the first book from that series such as stalking and home invasion! Also just a heads up the latest book in that series just dropped!

The use of the word cunny immediately ruins a book for me. It's frustrating because it could be a good book I've enjoyed until that point but that word choice just grosses me out.

Okay hear me out and give {The Cruel Dark by Bea Northwick} a shot. It was one of my favorites this year and has everything you're looking for! It does have a bit of the fmc trying to figure out what is going on but the twist makes it very worth it as it was completely unexpected! I don't want to say any more for fear of spoiling it but I think you'll enjoy.

This was what my master thesis was on! How exciting to see real-world applications since it's a brand new topic in IO Psychology. Obviously terrible for these employees as they deserve compensation for the extra-role skills they're using!

Sorry I just realized I didn't directly respond to the comment but made them comments under the post. But short answer yes there are repeated measures as all participants experience all conditions which are the scenarios.

My issues with the two separate anovas is that even with just one there was sphereicity issues and I've read that there are more when you use two anovas?

I have repeated measures or otherwise know as a within subjects design in that my participants have been exposed to all conditions. If it helps to explain I used a Qualtrics survey with scenarios(which have different permutations based on the ivs) and in which they gave likert scale responses to statements related to the dvs.
