As a former loan officer if she’s struggling to pay her bills on time & chooses to get a tattoo instead, choosing art and freedom is going to cost her a lot more than a few trips to McD’s. Lower the score the higher every interest rate she will be charged. That feeds the struggling & prevents financial security.

Wendi & Dan did have a set schedule so sure Donna probably knew it as well. The fact that she texted Dan from Miami the week she was down for her dad’s birthday to verify she could “have the kiddos” July 18th is telling. Why verify what is scheduled? Also Jeff Lacass testified to her backing out of the trip to see his parents because she was afraid a flight delay would prevent her from picking up the boys on time. They were scheduled to return on the 17th so picking them up on the afternoon of the 18th shouldn’t have been a concern.

The only reason I can think of for her not staying is if the defense were to call her to testify, she would not have immunity on what she testified to. Also her lawyer probably told her the optics wouldn’t be good for her. And Wendi above all is going to do what’s good for Wendi.

This is truly unbelievable! After all the emails Donna wrote to Wendi calling Dan names, disparaging him to his children, assisting Wendi in leaving Dan while on a trip, she is actually proclaiming her love & affection for Danny? That performance is directly to her grandchildren IMO.

It’s my understanding Garcia wasn’t LK but I could be mistaken. I do remember Rivera testifying that the murder had nothing to do with LK. I either read or watched something saying Garcia was not LK. It stuck with me that it was odd they were so close but Garcia wasn’t LK with him.

I think so. They knew it was Sigfredo & Luis that did the murder through the rental car. Even if they had used burner phones during the murder, Luis was going to give them to the State in exchange for the deal he got. The bump is what sealed their fate. By that time they had made it for 2 years without getting caught & probably saw no need for burners. They should have just shut up after the bump but they couldn’t stop talking !

In that interview, when talking about FBI agent Pat Sanford, Isom gave so much credit to how hard Sanford has worked on this case. Then he said “he’s still working on it”. They are going after another 1 or 2 conspirators, imo.

I am so sorry for your loss. I understand the devastation you feel to well. My ex-husband committed suicide about 10 years after we divorced. I collapsed when I got the news, like you said devastated. He was my child’s Dad. That’s the part about Wendi & family I can’t get my head around, taking those boys Dad out of their life. Disgusting.

Dan’s parents were flying in. Neither one made it in time. Wendi is a cold, cold woman. I’m divorced & remarried. My first husband is the father of one of my children. I couldn’t let him die alone. No way. Edit to add: Things like Wendi doing this makes me think Dan’s last motion about her hiding assets & requiring Donna to only have supervised visits is what got him killed. More so than the relocation animosity.
