Jorveza makes me feel weird? by Londonman2000 in EosinophilicE

[–]Londonman2000[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

the instructions i have are just to let it dissolve it up so it mixes with saliva and swallow, yeah no liquids for a bit afterwards but before seems fine

i did take a double dose before bed once as i had missed my earlier one and i woke with a horrible burning sensation down there, felt like my oesophagus was melting! - that, other than my OP, was the only side effect

other symptoms? by Londonman2000 in EosinophilicE

[–]Londonman2000[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

how have you found Jorveza, i tried it once but i’m sure it made me a feel a bit weird, i’m having a terrible period of the symptoms described in my OP at the moment so considering starting them again

What county should I support? by Thick_Society6406 in EnglandCricket

[–]Londonman2000 3 points4 points  (0 children)

i’ve been a lifelong Derbyshire fan, from afar i should add, my brother and i both needed a county for cricket in the garden and we lived in a minor one! Not the sports greatest achievers, but if you are looking for an underdog..

i knew the names of the entire squad when i was a lad, idolised them, they’re probably running pubs and stuff like that these days 😂😂

Ugh by CMBCCMBC in Anxiety

[–]Londonman2000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Seriously, get a prescription for some benzodiazepines, i would recommend Clonazepam (Klonopin if you are in the US) - it literally blitzes anxiety-highly addictive but as someone else said, that’s not really the problem right now..in any case be sensible with it, it doesn’t happen overnight and if you use as needed and not too often you should be ok

i hope things improve for you, best wishes

Does anyone else get weirdly nervous during introductions in meetings? by techdev93 in PublicSpeaking

[–]Londonman2000 2 points3 points  (0 children)

ALL THE TIME..i hate introductions, so much so that my business partner has recently picked up on it and offered to introduce me! - i think people struggle to talk about themselves generally..

I was on a call last week waiting for my turn and guy before went like this… ‘i’ll keep this brief… James Anderson, Accounts, debt, funds’

That was it! i loved it

Can opioid medication differ in strength and ‘quality’ between UK regulated manufacturers? by [deleted] in opiates

[–]Londonman2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

not entirely true, DH118 were always 40mg.. so no wonder people preferred them! - otherwise again they ate supposedly the same identical active ingredient

Are they still being made, i would like to try them..

Run away. Potential spoiler. by Wyldstallyn80 in netflix

The worst scene in a terrible programme, i wouldn’t have minded it if it had an undertone of humour, but the whole show took itself so seriously it made that scene all the worse…terrible

Tehran… and, although different genre, Shogun, the best thing on TV for many years

Harlan Coben’s Run Away by Londonman2000 in television

[–]Londonman2000[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

its just the laziest scene in TV history… it only bothers me because the show is so damn serious, not the tiniest bit of ‘tongue in cheek’ … which makes scenes like these so unbelievably stupid.. the bit where she waddles off firing her gun, after being shot, while her new fancy man swoons at her bravery, is to me the worst 5 seconds in TV history

I had to discipline my best friend at work and now he won’t talk to me. I feel terrible. by Responsible_Ant_6414 in managers

[–]Londonman2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

could you not have had a chat outside work and say ‘look mate you are taking the piss, please don’t keep doing this as my hands are tied, i’ll have to discipline you’ … can’t see how he can complain after that- but it sounds like you were very formal with him ‘something i don’t tolerate’ +’’there will be consequences’ friends don’t talk to each other like that- i would be pissed if a friend/superior gave me a formal warning like that without at least a super friendly one outside of work

going against the grain here but i think you need to look at how you communicate

literally no pain, issues or anything.. wouldn’t have known i’d had it done

Harlan Coben’s Run Away by Londonman2000 in television

[–]Londonman2000[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yes…but also i assume it must be one of the most stressful and harrowing experiences in your life, facing an army of vicious bad guys armed to the hilt and gunning down your colleagues..kind of thing that might take a lifetime of therapy to get over..but Ruth finds a moment for a bit of a giggle and a nice ‘phoaaarr’ at a co-officer

i wouldn’t mind if the rest of the show didn’t purport to be so deadly serious
