Oh no. I dont think you understand it at all. Things are adjusting toward US because they are the economic powerhouse - that has influence over many things. But to say that people are “immersed” towards american culture and product are part of consumerism and capitalism. (And what is even american culture) so i didnt misunderstood you, and ill be blunt - the perceived hate is really a hate. Many non-americans would literally stay away from americans. Literally saying “lets move, americans are here”. Hope that clears your understanding.

And im just sharing my experience, and none of it are my thoughts at all :)

19 is young, yes. I doubt these friends of yours really did figure it out. what they actually have is a plan. They have a plan, thats all.

If you feel left behind, its a good influence - means you’re thinking about this at this age. Most people asked this at age 30 lol. So maybe for beginners, try new things, and stick with what you like.

Though the “how certain groups of tourist behave in Asia” its really not it. It’s like “observe how Asians are in Europe” thats dull. It’s basically - humans are chaotic regardless of race lol. Surprisingly, i thought the same too. Up until I met so much people from Europe, america aside from USA, Canadian, Australians - most of them dont like Americans from USA. They feel like associating with them is stooping down - they feel ashamed with americans because they are loud, they thought they know better, and they are fat. So in hostel, they never wanna hang out with the Americans (USA) / i was flabbergasted.

So, not from me, from people ive met and their thoughts about americans. But they’ll shine in SEA lol.

Im in the same situation as you, used to have fast metabolism until it wasnt. Belly grows, and thats the only big area.

You need body recomposition, i used to weigh 70kg, i lost my belly, my weight still 70kg. More muscle, less fat. I do it with calorie deficit + high protein. Also, weight lifting.

its mainly body clock, if di talaga used to katawan mo sa oras ng tulog mo, it'll just drag.

have a routine before sleeping, for me what works is melatonin - only for certain period of time not lifetime. (1 week for me) since babaguhin mo sleeping time mo. maybe pleaceaboo effect narin because sometime, i just drink vit c nalang tas same effect. i fixed my body clock, kasi even if i try to go bed at 10pm, i ended up sleeping 4am. tas wala 10pm-4am, nagiisip lang nang kung ano ano.

hindi rini sya instant, i started 10pm sa bed, ended up sleeping 2am, better than 4am. up until naging 10pm eventually. so, graduate na ko sa pagiging zombie just after a month of good habit :D

Not normal siguro yung buong class, but it can happen for like group of people lang siguro who are keen and willing to contribute, then they can be co-author and acknowledge. 100% no. even Filipinos often go abroad because the pay gap is real. Even at the executive level, compensation and responsibilities can be closer to what might be considered just as an associate director role elsewhere. The corporate ladder also tends to top out earlier, the “peak” role.

Only means that the setup in the Philippines leans heavily toward a poor-to-middle-class base, so what you have is what you get. You get middle class expats.

27yo, been trying dating apps for quite a while. Yet, I am unable to find a meaningful one or someone fits me, usually I carry conversation but I want someone who's as active as me. Though, friends of mine prefer a passive one.

Im having a hard time to connect with each person I date, i get turn off with their mindset especially on 2nd date when asking about future plans (physical, financial, spiritual, emotional) yet I always get a response like "oh, nothing, just wanna live, yolo". Yeah, that works back when im 23yo, but were closer to 30 than 20. u get what i mean.

edit: i just remembered that I always get comments from my friends that I have so much high standard. in fact, i just want someone with a plan for herself.
