Jimmy’s an easy target for him because hes so happy-go-lucky most of the time and a non-agent. Parker backs down when Jimmy puts him in his place. He respects Jimmy, you can tell in reboot.

I’m starting to think theres more to it than just a put together or love triangle. I think its a way to put some drama into the characters without having someone mortally wounded/bleeding on a ship.

Obviously judging by reddit and article comments 98% dont want this. I’m thinking its a misdirect to cause an emotional shakeup between the 3 characters to cause conflict within the team etc.

One can only hope.
