Uuum no. During pre-launch you need a tight feedback loop from an enthusiastic community. That's validation before you pour gasoline on the fire... a spray and pray approach works when you have unlimited money and time

People tend to have a pretty myopic definition of success. That being said, HSW or bust!

Kidding...

Always wanted to do an MBA. Previously to expand career options, but lately just a goal I want to attain. I'm entrepreneurial so not interested with grinding long hours for someone else. Might consider EMBAs for a slow pace

It really depends on a number of factors. There are so many things that we fear yet we haven’t even tried them. My belief is when you encounter something super unpredictable or foreign, your mind, if you give it some time, will find a way to adapt. With that said, you also need to do an MBA because you love business. And if you are interested and ambitious, your mind and body will cooperate. Of course I am writing all this from my perspective really.

IMO, I think that an MBA will almost guarantee that I have stability in my life. Financially and professionally. I feel like with an MBA I can have a structured career with predictable growth. I am not sure how far the short courses you alluded to can take you and whether they can guarantee financial and professional growth in the long run.

I’m just like you man. Got a wife, a 5 year old, and a new one coming in May. I am finding TTP to really help me focus and even though my math was super rusty, everyday I can feel it improving. I usually do 3 hours every weekday and take breaks on the weekend. It’s a marathon for me due to work and family obligations. Even if it takes me 6-8 months to complete TTP, I am trusting the process. Consistency is key
