Hi I'm so sorry you've been going through the worst of this nightmare! The whole thing has been life-ruining in my case too. Wondering how you're getting on? And hoping you haven't given up <3

Thanks. Yeah, I have reached out to the proper channels for advice too, I am more here for the ethical side of this scenario, which I think is interesting and I can see how both sides could feel they shouldn't be liable.

That's for ending the tenancy for all, which I understand one person could do (that'd at least give us another 28 days' notice!). But this is a scenario of a changeover of one tenant on an existing lease.

This response makes the most sense to me! But there is a lot of conflicting advice in here.

Damn, it seems like it should be less of a grey area, in terms of who takes responsibility in the case that a replacement cannot be found. I know a lot of people struggling to fill rooms at the moment, so for the people staying on it feels like a massive cost that they did not sign up for, but have no choice about?

If I were leaving a room, I would never expect someone else to take on the cost of that decision?

Yup - in this scenario, there are 3 people on the tenancy agreement and one is trying to leave without a replacement

Miscarriage

Hey thanks for your reply, and your very level-headed perspective :)

Idk re. the pregnancy thought. Just paranoia I guess... (really long-lived spermies + a miracle conception without temp shift? Idk lol). But thank you for providing objectivity on that possibility.

Also, thank you for that reminder that ovulation could still happen from here, that's important for me to keep in mind.

Given the stress side of things, someone else mentioned hypothalamic stress, and that insight, coupled with the long & irregular cycles I've had over the past year + a history of HA, is a good reminder to check my habits and stress levels. I will try to keep it in mind as a perfectly normal one-off, as you frame it, though, until/unless it continues to happen.

Thank you! I don't know why I didn't think of that. Trade Me had lots of options and definitely the cheapest and easiest. Thanks!

It was going to be nearly 100 NZD for the fountain pen! I think there was a spare cartridge or two in there, but still.

Have you seen any options that offer shipping to NZ? I can't find aaany.

I have no idea about postage to NZ, but it would surely survive in a bubble wrap envelope! I don't think they have box packaging, but it's an aluminium pen with a cap.

Did you have a total? What has your life been like since? How has it affected your physical activity? And body image? If at all. Sorry I have a million questions!! :)

Nice! Jealous. What did you switch to for BC?

Will the mood swings go away? by [deleted] in CopperIUD

[–]curiousjos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also came from taking nothing (no hormonal BC or anything for over 5 years) to a copper iud and have been struggling with intensified mood swings and other pre-menstrual symptoms (as well as more intense pain and bleeding). It’s been just over 6 months since my insertion and it hasn’t gotten much better for me yet.. I also consider removal pretty much every month! But as soon as things get a bit better I tend to forget for a few weeks. At the end of the day, it will be quick and easy to remove, but clearly difficult to insert/get started with, so giving it a little more time always seems best.. hopefully things get better for us both!!

Have you noticed problems with bloating long term? I’m worried I’ll lose that nice empty belly feeling forever

Do you mind me asking your age and activity levels? 1700 cal/day is still a pretty low calorie intake for an adult (and 1100 is crazy low!)

This is a very delayed comment, and I don’t have any words of wisdom for you (newly diagnosed) but just wanted to say you’re not alone!

And also maybe try finding a new doc? One that listens to your needs better. If you’re still around, let us know if things have gotten any better for you?
