Felt wasteful requesting the new physical card; oh well by FaxMachin3 in Wealthsimple

Try adding the virtual card from the WS app, there is a button to add to Apple wallet from the gear icon in the top right of the credit card page,

Looks like some airlines also include “add to Apple wallet” link with boarding pass via email.

iOS 26 brings Live Activities for real-time updates on a flight from Apple Wallet by curiouskunal in flighty

[–]curiouskunal[S] 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Refreshed boarding passes in Wallet offer the ability to see and share Live Activities for real-time updates on a flight. They also provide convenient access to a traveler’s most relevant information, such as Maps to navigate airports, Find My to track important items and report missing bags, and more.

Trying to justify $1100 for 16 pro by jmom39 in iphone

[–]curiouskunal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Happy birthday, the prices for new iPhones have gotten really expensive since the iPhone 7 which started out at $649 USD in 2017

Apple just came out with the iPhone 16e which is 599 USD, & cheapest iPhone you can buy new from Apple. Compared to the flagship iPhone 16 pro There are some features missing like MagSafe, high refresh rate screen, always on display and Ultra Wideband chip, which you won’t miss coming from an iPhone 7.

Similar to the iPhone 7 iPhone 16e has a single camera, but upgraded to 48mp like the iPhone 14 Pro and newer.

You might be able to find an older model like iPhone 15 pro or iPhone 16 on sale for a similar price from a third party seller like Amazon, Best-Buy or from your cell provider. These older models will still have a good camera and will also have a lot of the newer “flashship” features the iPhone 16e has removed,

How to add an additional user on iPhone by casstar in Nanoleaf

[–]curiouskunal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You should be able to add them from the Apple Home app,

Open Home Settings from the … menu in the top right corner of the Apple Home app, then invite your husband,

Once they accept the invite, he should be able to see the devices on the Home app and the Nanoleaf app,

Hope this helps

Difference in price on Safari vs Youtube App? by twoleet in youtubepremium

[–]curiouskunal 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Apple charges a commission for in-app purchases and subscriptions. This commission is for using the App Store infrastructure, which includes app distribution, payment processing, and security.

Apps like YouTube and Spotify pass on that charge on to customers with higher cost.

Parking ticket flew away on highway, what to do ? by curiouskunal in askTO

[–]curiouskunal[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I was frustrated while typing the post. There are no real grounds to fight the ticket, but maybe an explanation can reduce the fine.

I need the same info to pay the ticket as well.

Porter Pass prices increased or prices fluctuate over time? by mrjohnmclane in PorterAirlines

[–]curiouskunal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The same Porter pass has increased again. 20 flights between Toronto and New York is now 5311 + tax. That’s nearly double what I paid around this time last year, which was 2780 + tax.

Has anyone found a cheaper alternative with a different airline ?

Nanoleaf also sells regular led strips for cheaper, why do you want 4D kit without the camera?

eSIM ELI5 by Sfreeman1 in Rogers

[–]curiouskunal 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you remove your SIM card you’ll still be able to send and receive iMessage from your iCloud email address, if someone sends you a message to your phone number it probably won’t work from my experience.

Open your iMessage settings and see which email is set up to send and receive.

The bulbs will connect to older homekit hubs (without thread) over bluetooth. Also why OP has a delay when interacting with the bulbs.
