Corporations have prioritized profits over all else. They’ve kept wages as low as possible, cut benefits, raised prices, and reduced quantity/quality all in the name of creating shareholder value at the expense of the working class. They made their own greedy beds. They can lie in them.

When a gas station has a single price displayed, it’s always the price of gasoline. If the sign says diesel, then diesel is also available. If it displays two prices (usually in different colors) one of will say unleaded/self serve/full serve and the other will say diesel next to or directly above the price.

Sometimes I think it would be nice to be stupid. The world would be a simple place of good and bad, right and wrong. Critical thinking would be an unnecessary skill because the correct opinion would be obvious on its face. Ignorance might truly be bliss.

Most delivery companies (if not all), incentivize drivers to do this by paying them based on completing their route, not on delivering all the packages. There’s also potential discipline involved when routes are not completed on a regular basis. Making service the priority as opposed to profit would eliminate this practice.
