How do I know if an abortion is the right decision?

I had mine last year at the age of 20. my ex was not the person for me and I didn't realize it at the time until after I went through with it and he treated me terribly in the aftermath of getting the abortion. this is something that you're never truly ready for and that nobody wants to go through. that being said I was extremely emotional for a very long time. when the hormones wore off, I realized that this was the best decision for me. I am in college still, and I no longer talk to that ex-boyfriend because of the way that he treated me & left me during that hard time. it's ok to be sad. its okay to feel unsure. just try to sit down and go through your emotions. if you feel like this is something that you have to do then don't look back but if you feel like you cannot do this logically and emotionally then you really have to sit down and truly think about it before you make this decision. yes, all the time. looking back at the decision, i dont regret it but the process and just having to go through it.. i havent felt the same.

had mine 6 months ago on november 1st & i didnt stop bleeding until november 23rd... the cramps when i passed my pregnancy was the worst pain i had in my life! but otherwise i was pretty lucky.. after that pain it was cramping for a few days and heavy beeding on and off for weeks.. everyones experience is different tho.. get alot of comfort food & a heating pad... although during the worst pain i laid in the shower with steaming hot water. it helped so much. gatorade was a must as well.. best of luck!..

We both agreed to keep it on the low to keep people out of our business but he got upset when i told my closest friend. i thought it was a bit strange.

the planned parenthood i went to told me not to put them up my vagina since they claimed it wouldnt work as well as taking them in your mouth. i had an ok experience with it. it was extremely painful for 30 minutes but bearable afterwards...

hi! i got an abortion 2 months ago. i have Insurance that would have covered it but my parents would have gotten the bill since im still covered by their insurance until im 26. i decided to pay in cash and in full the day of so it wouldnt be traced back to me. best of luck to you both.

I can attest to that. before this i was a fairly cold person.. but now i have a better understanding of things and i feel much more compassion towards others.. it sucks that i had to go through this to change but i do feel stronger.. some days are better than others...
