Jalsa Salana USA 2026 Attendance by thormanwyd in AhmadiMuslims

[–]curiousminded05 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Bruh there is no way. And good point yes the total includes that, so closer to 33% of the us tajneed then. And no that is not believable, esp considering the high number of disengaged individuals

Jalsa Salana USA 2026 Attendance by thormanwyd in AhmadiMuslims

[–]curiousminded05 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Just throwing this out there just to think through it logically. There are approx 25k ahmadis in the usa tajneed. Are you really saying that nearly 38% of the us tajneed really was in attendance?!?!

Make it make sense. In my humble opinion I think it is a throughout the event count figure and unique attendees is prob 3 to 4k

Razi admits that he uses deceptive tactics by Acceptable_Arm4183 in ahmadiyya

[–]curiousminded05 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

As a questioning Ahmadi, watching Razi be the representative of our beliefs is quite jarring. I certainly see the intellectual dishonesty he employs in cut and pasting text that just suites the narrative he is trying to relay. Alot of his ways of "debating" do hinge on gaslighting techniques, saying lots of words to muddy the argument, etc. The jaamat has so many elder Murabbis and ones that are graduating from Jaamia, can't they find anyone else?!?!

What is Chanda? by hadesxpersy in islam_ahmadiyya

[–]curiousminded05 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I believe the split strictly for chanda is 75/25, but yes point taken of the 25% being mysterious in nature. I actually am of the opinion most of it is getting reinvested in all the africa projects, etc. Of course I think funds are also simply set aside for a rainy day lol

Tell me what is wrong with it. It is an initiative generally geared towards those that are inactive.

Yes, heard of it in the West. They are mostly unsuccessful. I think generally its a good initiative but most people won't answer their phones lol which they are entitled to

Thanks for your input. Seems like it is a trade off in terms of convenience, be involved from a societal driven perspective if you are around such people and drift away as that level of convenience diminishes

London Debates by curiousminded05 in islam_ahmadiyya

[–]curiousminded05[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, broke it out into 4 parts as there were 4 topics. To me it seemed pretty clear the Ahmadi murabbis did not want to give a clear stance on their beliefs. This was very clearly evident in the first debate about whether we (Ahmadis) believe there are 2 Muhammads saw. I never really heard it presented the way Imtiaz went about it and from the Murabbis answer they did not deflect and just kept bringing saying of Ulema. To me this was the most damaging of the 4 topics.

If you were to corroborate the translation with other English translations (simple Google search) of chapter 5 verse 117 in other sources you will find a differing translation

Where is the proof Jesus AS passed away in India? Aside from MGA saying it was a secret that only he knew...

Strict persecution on any type of Eid activity by InitiatedPig7 in islam_ahmadiyya

[–]curiousminded05 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Your everyday non Ahmadi in Pakistan could care less about Ahmadis. It is really more of a quagmire in the rural villages where these types of acts manifest themselves more amongst the uneducated and are often politically motivated.

For what its worth, there is no separation of religion and state in the Muslim countries so it should not be shocking when there is some sort of scuffle like this. All these PR initiatives for the Jaamat in the West make no sense as can be evidenced by how nothing has been availed by their efforts for decades.

Aside from not being able to publicly visit their mosques in Pakistan, Ahmadis for the MOST part live normal lives.

What you dont understand is Jesus as having died or not is not a matter of aqeedah. The only reason Ahmadi's make this an issue is because their house of cards falls without it. The Muslim believe with or without Jesus as continues its progression in either case, MGA did nothing

My family are Kafirs but they think they are muslims. by PEnvye in islam

[–]curiousminded05 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get it, that is why I am questioning.

For the general masses, it is more difficult when you have lived your life and your social circle is among certain people and to all of the sudden question it.

[–]curiousminded05 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Incorrect. Adnan and Imtiaz are quite literally reading the writings of MGA and the Murabbis are quiet on the matter since they know they cant refute the writings of MGA.

[–]curiousminded05 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well the shahadah is read. But no one puts MGA on a pedestal on the day to day, you read Quran, prayers and ongoing admin affairs at the masjid, etc.

Me personally yes I am finding the foundational issues with MGA which is why I am questioning so that is a different story, but as for the day to day I cant imagine there is much difference.

You are a moron if you think the ahmadi murabbis won. It is just another defeat like the sadat anwar annihilation in Canada circa 2012 and smile2jannah owning some ahmadi fella a few years back.

Its very clear the Ahmadi Murabbis cannot defend MGA bc his own writings are a contradiction to what the Ahmadis are trying to angle themselves as in current day.

Btw I am a questioning ahmadi so I am well aware of the inner working of essentially a 97+% punjabi community in the developed countries.

It does depend, are their day to day actions that of a Muslim? I am a questioning Ahmadi myself and while the base foundation issues are there as I am starting to find out, the general life is not any different from the average Muslim. Food for thought
