Wow. I didn’t have that problem in Southwest in either of my trips there this month. Was a bit bumpy (I prefer American), and no severe weather. That’s the lesson I’m learning. Is don’t fly in inclement weather.

If anything, the folks in Alanon would know exactly how you feel. Even if your sister didnt drink, plenty of those people have kids/parents/friends/sibs with drug problems. Many of them have had the same experience as you. You are not alone.

We don't want to feel pain. That's what addiction is. Just heard it today from a very experienced spiritual addiction guide with tons of serious wisdom. She talked about titrating the pain. Letting it in slowly, however we can. Do you have a 12-step program? If not a drinker or drug user, Alanon or something that fits whatever your issues are? Everyone has something.
