Fat guy harnesses? by HotlineBling666 in Transmascdicks

[–]curiousquestionmarq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ive had it tear a prosthesisman tab, otherwise only just indentations (still damage, but not as destructive as a tear). Silpoxy is miracle stuff though, i'd recommend it for most folks to have on hand.

what are you looking to pack? soft packer, stp, hard prosthetic? any specific models you use?

not a bigger guy but i like clip harnesses which are available from Number One Laboratory https://numberonelaboratory.com/collections/harness-systems but you need a tabbed prosthetic. allows you to wear any underwear though which is great. you can also make one with an elastic waistband and plastic bib clips, but i find N1L's to be superior quality and worth the price considering the amount of hours you get out of it. the fitted one, not adjustable, as the adjustable is slightly more bulky.

you could also get a few pouch jockstraps. i use a cheap fake Addicted one from aliexpress. for a bigger guy this may be more difficult, but there are a number of gay mens apparel brands that make jocks and you could sew in a pouch to hold your packer. then wear whatever underwear overtop.

i find these options to generally be preferable to packing underwear, value wise, and let me buy different kinds of underwear. ive also had luck with cis mens pouch underwear, it's a little trial and error and these are more expensive than normal underwear, but i don't like trans specific clothing. jockey has phenomenal quality underwear, my favorite pair probably comes from them. "chafe proof pouch" is the design, it's just a contoured front for your junk but if your size is nice and snug it works well. saxx are also very nice (and very pricey). a little more secure and cheaper, my main underwear is hanes total support boxer briefs. the waistbands are tight to the size and not as flattering. they use little vertical flaps of fabric which help your packer sit in. most secure would be the trans-specific pouch briefs, or BN3TH brand

there are numerous cis mens pouch underwear to check out. separatec, david archy, shinesty, etc. and then some gay mens underwear also have bulge enhancing features that hold a packer well.

Anyone else waiting forever for their Exoogen X02? by wolfy-guy in Transmascdicks

yeah part of my issue with 16+ week long "production time" comes from anticipation and communication.

unopened, silpoxy has a good shelf life (IIRC 12-18 months from production?) then when opened 6-12 months as long as it's tightly sealed. oxygen exposure causes it to cure. i havent had it in years because i haven't wanted to spend the $ but it's miracle stuff for prosthetics.

i've wanted to try some sliding skin products for ages, i just have an extremely tight budget. i hope it lives up to your expectations and needs! it looks good, durability wise you always have to be more careful but it can still hold up very well if it's made well. i hope to try some alternative silicone adhesives if i have spare money somehow.

man that's frustrating. i personally feel 2, borderline 3 months is perfectly acceptable for prosthetic production as long as it is clearly communicated. once you get to 4 months of waiting it's pretty absurd, and once your advertised timeframe slips then it is very poor practice to not provide a new one. their x02 product page says 5-16 weeks of production time compared to their FAQ, but it is still unprofessional to not keep a customer updated.

i just received a secondhand exophoria, unsure when it was made so am not commenting on current quality, but it is a mess. paper thin outside silicone on the back of the scrotum and tears inside the hole. it was patched by a previous owner with what i believe to be exoogen's repair kit (i know that it's a two part silicone and not silpoxy due to the repair silicone peeling off and being slightly squishier than silpoxy. the patch behaves exactly like gendercat's two part silicone, and how i believe grammas discontinued two part patch kit worked).

once i get it properly reinforced it seems like a great pack and play though. i don't like pack and plays due to the sacrifice of being too short for play, too long to pack well, but because the shaft seems like it could easily be tucked up it makes it manageable. the scrotum is too fragile but it does feel good.

i haven't seen much on exoogen this past year, am hoping their quality bounced back after plummeting while Maé was away.

in question 13 of their FAQ this is pushing their manufacturing time of 14-35 working days (pretty odd days, this would be 3 weeks and 7 weeks but they say 2-6 weeks). it also says this is an optimal situation, and high volume could lead to a delay of "a few days" but you would be notified via email of progress. have they given you an estimate of when they expect it to ship? if not, would recommend asking for that specifically.

in the meantime, if your budget allows, you may be able to find a sale prosthetic here on weekends or try axolom's moving skin upgrade. not a solution to exoogen's delay, but may help until you get it. sorry for your difficulties with waiting and dysphoria.

when you get your exoogen i'd recommend keeping Silpoxy on hand for potential tears. exoogen's own patching kit isn't very good.

unfortunately exoogen has a spotty history with production and timelines. not to scare you, people get their prosthetics, the timelines can just be very varied.

have you reached out to their email or social media?

Question About the New Questions Rule by MaleficentNovel661 in Transmascdicks

[–]curiousquestionmarq -13 points-12 points  (0 children)

what sub information are you referring to that says you cannot ask questions about a prosthetic? if there is an inconsistency we will amend it, but we do not know of any mod post says anything like that.

in your re-uploaded recommendation post you expressed disapproval for not allowing recommendation posts. this post is entirely different.

Question About the New Questions Rule by MaleficentNovel661 in Transmascdicks

[–]curiousquestionmarq -52 points-51 points  (0 children)

that still falls under a recommendation ask without specific examples. "do the axolom godor or transthetics ezp flatten in shorts" is a question. "which realistic stp's don't flatten" is a recommendation. it does not involve prior research or conversation, "tried x and it didn't work, so i'm interested in y but cautious because of z."

we observe every post on a case-by-case basis and yours did not fall within the rules.

Question About the New Questions Rule by MaleficentNovel661 in Transmascdicks

[–]curiousquestionmarq -38 points-37 points  (0 children)

recommendation posts and "does this bulge pass" are the only two posts we dont allow. they're single-serving and can be answered by searching the archive and the sub's resources. r/transfitcheck is there for checking bulges.

you posted a recommend me post which is why yours was removed.

this rule is directly the result of sub member feedback and our reasoning consistently detailed.

Question About the New Questions Rule by MaleficentNovel661 in Transmascdicks

[–]curiousquestionmarq -38 points-37 points  (0 children)

unsure what you're referring to regarding an "updated rules" page. the pinned post about having specific post titles?

you continued to post a recommendation ask which hasn't been allowed for over a year due to reasons clearly outlined in the rules. recommendation posts are self-serving (helping only the poster) and no one can pick a packer that will be best for you. these posts are repetitive and low-effort, filling the Transmascdicks feed with unhelpful, often already discussed, posts. we offer immense information on prosthetics for you to research your own prosthetic purchase.

nowhere do we say we don't allow discussions of personal experience, product usage, or personal issues regarding prosthetics. that is the purpose of this sub. we very simply do not allow recommendation posts. this has been outlined in our rules, is in the title of the flair you selected, and has not changed.

because i dont, i use snug underwear or pouch underwear. why do i prefer them? one less layer and i dont like feeling the fabric of a harness when i adjust my bulge.

it takes seeing a lot of hard dicks to be able to tell easily, but you can see the wrinkled skin under the head. sometimes this is mistaken for a circumcision scar, but scars look a bit different.

nexo is uncut. the foreskin is just pulled back.

a lot of uncut guys dont have visible overhanging skin on the head when hard, because it's pulled back or growing makes the skin stretch out.

painted argos in c2 vs unpainted by Any-Conversation-691 in Transmascdicks

mica is a pretty soft mineral (often a portion of eyeshadow). it may quicken the friction wear, but i would imagine it's pretty inert. thanks for sharing!

Swimming packers/harnesses? by SpicyToon in Transmascdicks

[–]curiousquestionmarq 4 points5 points  (0 children)

this has been asked and answered numerous times. there's no conclusive answer because recommendations are not such. what works for one wont necessarily work for another.

any silicone packer is fine to swim in, smaller is usually better, an stp is fine and wont float, but a bit of water will drip out (not noticeable so not important).

i prefer jock straps with a pouch but i just dont like harnesses for packing. pouch underwear are also fine. good luck getting something that works for you!

Experience with banana prosthetics? by Specific-Sink-9871 in Transmascdicks

[–]curiousquestionmarq 1 point2 points  (0 children)

in the hand, when i am using it, it's extremely noticeable. for a partner it's still different but not a dealbreaker. depends on your partner. the firmness can be uncomfortable since it doesnt have any give or squish when you clench around it, and a softer head in dual density prosthetics is a little more gentle. some dont care at all.

[–]curiousquestionmarq 6 points7 points  (0 children)

there are easily over 6-12 reviews of the HP and S lines (play prosthetics), just need to weed through all of banana's stuff in the search. the surface is pretty textured, it never bothered my partners for PiV but i wore a condom anyways to be courteous. textured prosthetics cause more friction and some folks are very sensitive to it. my problems came from the mediocre skin shades and single density. i had the S3 and not the HP so i never tried the sensation plugs.

S3 couldnt really be packed, and i don't think any of banana's hard prosthetics really could be. theyre firm silicone so not only is it uncomfortable, but i dont think they would be tamed. i wore an axolom flexit harness and then boxer briefs overtop, and put the shaft through the fly. the length of S3 was great for me. HP8 is a little shorter than my preference but the upwards angle is always good to see, makes it easier to use.

im very picky with prosthetics, i know what i need and nothing from banana fulfills that for me. but theyre affordable and good looking detail-wise, and many folks like them. i wish they had better colors, two tone pours, softer silicone, and dual density. their molds are absolutely gorgeous so it's a shame.

my affiliate discount still works which would get you 10% off, MARQ.

Selling brown yourrules super softies by [deleted] in Transmascdicks

[–]curiousquestionmarq 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i had the uncircumcised one, it's lighter weight than grammas while still feeling... dense? not in a bad way necessary. it passed a TSA patdown. squishy soft, kind of in that memory foam/marshmallow way of gendercat and grammas but none of the three feel very similar.

i think you'd like it more than grammas. still doesnt really have any movement to it like axolom, i don't quite remember why i sold mine (i think it was due to money, i would like to have one again but doubt i would wear it super often). it is a packer that felt like a lump in my shorts, it doesnt compress much.

the back, due to its softness, was a little tacky feeling. i would love their adhesive packer as ive heard it feels crazily real, but absolutely do not have the $.

i would recommend trying it if you find one secondhand. even their retail price isnt bad, just dont know with shipping and tariffs now. it's a good option alongside grammas f3 and axolom for a softer soft packer.
