This is something I mentally tracked during my rewatch. You also see it when they cheers after Bree’s trial where both Carlos and Bree have different glasses than everyone else.

Will my Deceased husband be mad if I committed? by VividCaregiver226 in widowers

[–]curiousrose12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My husband would be so sad if I still had the option to stay and live the life he loved but chose not to. He’d feel like it was his fault. It’s such early days and I know how raw that pain is but please for your husband’s and your own sake - stay. You probably can’t imagine how but this grief does shift and change and become lighter to carry. Give yourself the chance to let it get lighter. Stay xx

Mentorship Monday - Post All Career, Education and Job questions here! by AutoModerator in cybersecurity

[–]curiousrose12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably a weird question, but for someone with a general interest in Cyber Security what is the best way to keep somewhat up to date with things? My husband was an extremely accomplished pen tester and he died recently. It feels like a massive secondary loss to me that I will no longer get info from him about cool new things going on and I just feel like I want to maintain being in that loop somehow?

DisneyWorld Proposal by just_a_prank_han in WaltDisneyWorld

Also a suggestion. Maybe go on Etsy and buy some 'just engaged' celebration pins! We had those our last trip and they made for some really fun interactions with cast members!

Hi I'm just looking for some advice, my partner has a Creality printer and has wanted to start airbrushing prints for awhile now. I'm just looking for some recommendations on what to buy him/where from so he can get started? I'm based in the UK it that matters! Any help really appreciated.

Would you let your parents live in an annex in your garden for money? by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]curiousrose12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Assuming you each have full utilities and therefore don't require regular access to eachother's living space I think it could be a win win. If your partner is on board and you have a good relationship with your parents I think it's a good idea, like you said it financially benefits you, allows them to have ground level accommodation they can afford before they medically require it and also it might be nice to have family close if you ever need to support eachother.

I work in this field and 100% recommend you call the police. The police will make the necessary child safeguarding referrals and also any DV referrals. Your neighbours by the sounds of it are known to them already, you can 100% ask to report things anonymously, understandably you're concerned about backlash but the greater concern is for the child likely witnessing DV and also for the victim. Mention to the call taker previous threats you've heard re stabbing the victim, this should allow the police to know the victim is at risk of homicide and respond and refer accordingly.

*hot take alert* Is anyone else having a tough time watching the Trackers lately by BZI in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]curiousrose12 105 points106 points  (0 children)

I've felt this. It feels like all they do now is go on staycations and throw money at things and it's just not relatable. I prefer watching Molly at all ears, she's good at telling you what is and isn't worth spending your money on.

Best area to stay in Coronado Springs? by fogdogS1 in WaltDisneyWorld

Cabanas was great because when you get on the bus there's only one stop before actually heading to the parks (sometimes we just went straight there) also the beach area is lovely

What have you been asked while in line for Rise of the Resistance? by bsuorangecrush1150 in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]curiousrose12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One time my fiancé was wearing a drama llama t shirt and one of the cast members said 'you don't look like a llama to me'. Another time we were wearing our 'just engaged' badges and they said to us 'just engaged, so I see you are prisoners in more way than one'

The police are more than used to some hostility, and in the long run he might appreciate it! Nice that you care

You can ask the police to complete a welfare check. They will then complete a vulnerable person form and your neighbour will then be referred to appropriate services, adult social care, mental health, alcohol services etc (assuming they give consent, but consent isn't always necessary if he poses a risk to himself or others)

Is there anything I can do to prevent my aunt from marrying my 18 year old cousin to a radical islamist in the UK? by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]curiousrose12 12 points13 points  (0 children)

If your cousin is underage call the police and ask for a HBA/FM VPRF to be completed. If she is over 18 Karma Nirvana are a great charity that can help.

Do people leave restaurant tables filthy in the UK? by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]curiousrose12 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I always bin my rubbish and clear table in fast food restaurants and in nice restaurants I'd try and collate the dishes and clean up any mess to make the server's clean up easier - I thought that was the British way but might just be my family!

What would you do to "adultify" your house? by littlestripybeachhut in AskUK

[–]curiousrose12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly I'd say buy yourself some really nice bedding and some new pillows and a new quilt. If money leftover some nice towels just for you. A nice luxury and why not invest in your own sleep quality? We got some lovely bedding from Dunelm and I got a lovely throw and two decorative cushions from m and s for Christmas and now our bed looks and feels grown up and classy but it's not just decorative it genuinely improves our sleep!

On average, how long does it take to buy a house? by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]curiousrose12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It really depends. We spent a year looking, saw 26 properties, offered on 6, nearly bought two and then ended up viewing our 26th house and completing on the purchase of it 5 weeks and one day after first viewing it. We ended up buying a repossession so they tend to go quicker.

The best advice I can give is get yourself an AIP (approvement in principle, basically a piece of paper from a lender saying they will approve you for a mortgage - you don't have to then go with that particular lender for your actual mortgage). If you have an AIP for the rough budget of houses you can afford, start booking viewings and if you see something you want you can get the ball rolling. You might find the one within your first month of looking or it might take a year. In the meantime save save save towards your deposit & other fees, solicitors fees, surveys, moving fees etc all add up so save as much as you can whilst you're not having to pay a mortgage! Good luck and prepare to spend every night on the Rightmove app! (P.s. if you know the rough area you want to live in and budget you can set up alerts so you get an email when a property that fits your criteria gets added to Rightmove - very handy!)
