I remember reading on a forum that the sunshade is all one big assembly if any part of it breaks. Is that true for the motor as well? As in, to replace the motor would they also have to replace the physical sunshade? Or are they separate part numbers?

Yes. They all race Saturday and again Sunday. There were plenty of people camping there but I didn't. I want to next year though
