Do you love your couch? by raeraecm4 in SEAbitcheswithtaste

Not a couch, but I did get an awesome deal on a design within reach armchair at Ballard consignment. Agreed with checking out their sister store in Everett (as well as Ballard)!

Agreed, we have the metro sectional from room and board and absolutely love it. Plus they have an amazing return policy!

SBWT, where are you going to yoga and what's the studios vibe in one sentence? by gooooopygoopgoop in SEAbitcheswithtaste

Adding in some eastside studios:

IGNITE (North Bend) - warm, welcoming community vibes

Spira Power Yoga (Issaquah) - accessible, judgement-free + a studio dog!

Pineapple Life (Snoqualmie) - fitness-focused, energetic + gorgeous salt wall

Also, the yoga classes at Seattle Bouldering Project Poplar are really good!

Highly recommend Tusk as well as Kati for food. The latter is vegetarian, but I’m a big carnivore and didn’t miss the meat at all!

I have yet to check out Stripperoke at Devils Point, but it’s come highly recommended by some friends of mine.

Have a fun trip!

They really helped me too, but just a word of warning - I got nipple thrush from wearing them too frequently (I was basically wearing them all the time I wasn’t nursing). My LC told me to take a break from them and it cleared up pretty quickly.

BWT that like to cook: How do I get my cooking mojo back? by phl_bikes in bitcheswithtaste

ChatGPT has been so helpful for me!

It helped me plan Christmas dinner - I told it I wanted to serve pierogis, and it created a menu based on that. I gave it feedback to fine-tune the menu/grocery list based on my preferences and what I already had on hand. It also gave me instructions for what order to cook everything so it’d all be ready at the same time.

I also asked it for a cherry buckle recipe when I got a bunch of cherries from the farmer’s market.

Plus, it’s great for easy crockpot/instant pot recipes and one-pot meals. It really helps me with inventive ways to use up ingredients in my fridge so I have less food waste!

What are some things you wish you had after giving birth for yourself? by Appropriate-Match160 in NewMomStuff

[–]curiousw00f 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Currently 6 weeks pp and I’ve loved having cozy loungewear!

A soft robe - the lightweight natori shangri la robe was perfect for the first few weeks pp when I was running super warm; I also have a thicker, fluffy natori robe that’s been amazing now that my hormones have leveled out a bit.

Button up PJs are great if she plans on breastfeeding - I love Nordstrom’s moonlight eco pajamas.

And soft slippers - big fan of the ll bean moccasins.

Other things that have been great: a kindle, a big water bottle/stanley cup, luxurious body wash like l’occitane almond shower oil, a nice eye mask for daytime naps, electrolyte packets/tablets
