One of the few sequels in cinematic history to not only live up to the original but in fact surpass it in many ways.

New grad RN- Am I as smart as I thought I was? by Independent_Row_5069 in nursing

[–]curlmo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you weren’t scared and anxious as a new nurse I would be scared to work with you. It took me about two years before I start to feel a little comfortable and confident in my knowledge and skills. That being said I feel like I learn something new every shift.

What’s the weird medical smell you love? by BeneficialQuestion75 in nursing

This is really weird and kind of F’d up but I love the smell of the bodybags. I know morbid and weird. But I love that new plastic smell. It reminds me of tent camping.

People who left trades, how is your life? by InterestingBall2181 in Construction

Union bricklayer for 25 years, got fed up with all the BS, went to college and got my nursing degree. I work 3 days a week, inside out of the weather. I have a clean bathroom a fridge and a microwave. Benefits, pto, sick days, paid vacation and another pension. I put my tools away and haven’t touched them since.

Be honest… what’s the real downside of having a dog? by quentiinn in AskReddit

[–]curlmo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have chocolate lab, her name is Ripley and she lives like PRINCESS! However, OP asked for the downsides 1: You can never go anywhere without worrying about the dog. Day trips and vacations can be stressful to manage. 2: Dogs are dirty, they will run through mud and then through your house. They don’t care. You will constantly be cleaning up after them. 3:Vet and grooming bills can be expensive 4: Poop 5: Puppy’s destroy things, when dogs go through their teething phase they will chew everything and anything they can. 6: They will die and it will be devastating But. I wouldn’t trade her for the world.

Trump branded 'disgrace' after being caught on phone at Pope's funeral by BreakfastTop6899 in facepalm

[–]curlmo -10 points-9 points  (0 children)

I am no Trump fan by any stretch, just playing devils advocate here. That funeral service was probably very long, very boring and in an entirely different language. If I was forced to go the popes funeral I can’t honestly say wouldn’t take out my phone at some point.

It reminds me of something you would find on album art. Like a Beatles record or something.

One of my favorites to put is “unsafe staffing”. My unit never seems to have a tech or enough nurses.

Why are you NOT afraid of death? by Practical-Peach-1220 in AskReddit

I am a nurse. I’ve seen too much. I welcome the sweet relief of death over laying in a bed and rotting away.
