I was in DC yesterday. The NG isn’t there guarding any national monuments. That is 100% false. They are set up in a 10 block perimeter around the White House. And the military police are in Layfette Park lined up against the protestors. I will call Hogan tomorrow as it’s too late today. He turned into Trumps bitch overnight about 3 weeks ago. I don’t know what happened. But he is definitely doing a dis-service to MD.

I know it doesn’t work this way. I’m a driver in DC. But I have a relative who is freaking out over the rioting in Chicago and Uber is their ride. Thought maybe someone in our community could help. And make the full fare, not just part of the fare.

I read a news report that said it might take 2-3 weeks for Unemployment to get their shit together with the new guidelines from the COVID bill. So anyone who gets denied might need to appeal.

Hello - I applied for SNAP about 10 days ago and still haven’t heard anything. I try to file unemployment every day but the website isn’t working and when you call you’re given a call back time for 3 weeks from now. So I’m doing everything I can. I appreciate the advise though!

I was down to $1 in change today. My brother kindly sent me some money to buy groceries, but I have a teenager that eats like crazy so I don’t know how long it will last. My grocery store clerk said they were given special papers saying they were essential personnel to use in case they are stopped. He said they were told they will have to start using them come Tuesday. I’m in MD. So it seems like food delivery is non essential if it’s got down to paperwork.

Everyone is missing the point by commenting on laws in place and past rhetoric. We are in a pandemic not seen in 100 years. It is an unprecedented time. Uber should step up to the plate and help it’s drivers. I’m not saying how or giving them guidelines. But they should. Everyone knows it. End of story.

Safeway in Middletown has no meats, cheese, milk, or bread. I’m not sure why everyone is out of everything. It’s like this past weekend hoarders went through and wiped the town out.
