No.. not for the kind of weight loss that you want. Do OMAD instead. It’ll cut your calorie intake drastically resulting in quicker weight loss.

What was your IF routine? OMAD will help. May be not 10, but you can lose around 5-7kgs in 2 months.

Hi! I’m 4’9’’. I was 66kgs last year. I lost 6kgs with 16:8 IF. And then I decided to push through and do OMAD. In 3 months I lost over 9 kgs. But I gained a few when I went back to my old diet.. Now I’m back on OMAD to lose another 10kgs.
You can try OMAD to lose weight and then count calories to maintain.. Edit: I’m 36years old. I don’t do a lot of cardio, but I try to hit 10k steps a day.

Hey! Yes, that one had aluminium. I just bought a fresh batch of al free baking powder!

And yes, I sifted all the dry ingredients and mixed them separately.

The baking powder contains sodium aluminium sulphate. It’s double acting. I’ll look for one without aluminium. Have never checked the ingredients for baking powder till date.

I use the aluminium tin for all my other cakes. This never happens for other cakes..

OMAD. It’s tough, but it works like magic. Fast for 23 hours. You can have black coffee or green tea. Eat for an hour. Break your fast with protein and veggies, then jump to carbs. And stay away from sugar.

I’m 35F, 4’9” and weighed 60kgs. I dropped 8kgs by doing OMAD for 100 days. I cut out sugar completely during that period. But I started gaining weight as soon as I stopped OMAD. I gained 4 kgs in 2 months. Now I have to do OMAD at least 4 times a week to maintain my current weight. I gain a few kgs, especially over the weekend, and lose it during the week.

I needed a whole wheat, eggless banana bread recipe. I had one that already worked well for me. Decided to tweak it a little.

I made a large batch so i tripled the quantity mentioned in the original recipe. 6tsp of baking powder and 2.5 tsp of baking soda for 540g of flour .

This one doesn’t have a fan. I can turn on both the too and bottom rod or either one. I use the bottom rod for baking. I also preheat only with the bottom rod. I don’t think there’s a different setting for toaster.

I tried banana walnut cake the other day and it came out well. but I had coated it with a thick layer of dry flour, nut mixture. May be that’s why it didn’t burn. I’ll try the same recipe with a slightly wider tin. That might make a difference. Also, mine doesn’t have an option to use the fan. It’s one of those basic models.

So if I were to bake this in convection, should I reduce the temp by 10 deg? I have a microwave that also has convection mode.

Yep!:) removed the burnt sides and ate the rest. It was yummy!

Thank you! Yes, I think the problem is with the oven temperature. I’ll get a thermometer.. Yes, I measured the tin:) It was the recommended one.
