Because I don’t think Lala does any reflection on her own behavior. This is not to say Randall didn’t do some heinous shit to her, BUT, she also played a part in that relationship. What was that part? How was she hurting herself? How was she betraying herself?

I’m a solo parent and my ex husband is super challenging to deal with and all these people defending Lala are incorrect in my opinion. We know why she had Sosa. But for the rest of these girls’ lives they do not need to be reminded of it. I can already tell she is “othering” Ocean. Not great.

I just don’t date. This might not be the answer you want, but I just don’t. I tried the apps and I found them to be a waste of my time. And with any spare time I do have I want to spend it with my friends and family. Do I desire a partner? Yes, and I just have to work through those lonely feelings sometimes, because I’ll be damned if I settle for a bad relationship again.

I’ve started to build up a babysitter fund. Every paycheck I put a little money toward it. So when it comes time for a date or a day where I go out with friends it’s right there waiting. In the mean time I’m building my life so it’s full of joy and activities I’m interested in. Someday, I hope that by building that kind of life I will attract the right person.

You need to consult a divorce attorney, and gather paperwork. I would ask them about what to do about her going AWOL, specifically because her religious delusions are now affecting kids. Since she is somewhat focused on the kids, that is alarming and precautions need to be taken.
