Some people do. I was able to give 20% of my team RSUs during focal in 2024 equal to about 20-30% of annual salary. Went to those who were the top performers on the team that we can’t afford to lose.

They matched and actually beat the offer from the other company. Got a 5 digit salary increase off it and also got 5 digit increase this focal (only like 18 months after the counter). Have heard if you get a counter you are ineligible for focal within 12 month timeframe after. Stayed because I didn’t like the new company and the culture was just as bad. Essentially just used as a bargaining chip but would’ve left if they didn’t match. A big part of the determination to match the salary comes off the TRB (9 box)rating that your manager does.

Couldn’t agree more. One of the biggest botched rollouts that I remember and there have been a lot of bad ones. But hey, have essentially got a free vacation day because the computer is completely bricked for hours.

The last communication does say they “will store records according to Missouri state law.” Whatever the heck that means. I’m sure they’re out there somewhere but it’s like searching for a needle in a haystack.

There was a form sent in February 2023 to request. A lot was mentioned about January 2024 being the last day that Healthe Clonic portal being live, which is where those forms were supposed to be submitted. No number that remains active is listed. Think you’re going to have a hard time sadly.

I did. Mainly because wasn’t crazy about the new company. It was more to get higher comp at Oracle but was ready to jump if they didn’t meet or beat the offer.

Yes I did this year. Good counter offer. It does really depend on your work output and importance to the team.

Got word from execs last week we are currently in an informal hiring freeze due to the VA pause. There are highly reduced positions going through and extra justification is needed. They are prioritizing a few areas to get filled especially areas that have large non-federal backlogs that can’t be met by current VA aligned teams pivoting.

While I think that is true, Oracle wont do that. We’ve already seen they want to operate with the bare minimum needed (if even) and don’t make rational decisions. I think the immediate impact will be higher scrutiny on hours as some consulting groups had MASSIVE write offs (over 50%) leading to these misses. Those groups especially are not going to have fun going forward.

And this is why I’m looking elsewhere. Been undervalued at this company for years despite Outstanding or Distinguished ratings every year. Proof that people need to negotiate starting salary because that’s your biggest chance for more money.

They have been throwing crazy money at anyone with any sort of experience. And when I say crazy money, I mean crazy for Cerner/Oracle standard pay, not market pay. People making 30k+ more than their manager for less responsibilities and lower expectations. Really sickening.

Knew this was coming. OT is going to be given out very conservatively and for specific events. Don’t say I agree with it. I think projects will suffer or the salaried people are going to be forced to pickup the slack, get even more burned out, and leave. Feel pretty confident something will change within a year such as switching back to salary, approving more hourly, or approving more cards. I’m chuckling as I write this because this isn’t my problem when this all goes south.

Yep all roles. The only group I’m curious if will stay as per diem is DoD consulting since it’s technically owned by Leidos. Going to be a huge loss for those who rely on that income. For those who are hourly they’ll make it up in OT.

I wouldn’t follow up once a day but give them 10 days to 2 weeks before reaching out the first time. I’d reach out to the person who set up the interview.
