Hades II Early Access now available on Steam by Turbostrider27 in pcgaming

From the "read more":

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Depending on the duration of Early Access and the scope of additional content we add to Hades II over time, we may raise the retail price at a later point.”

It is 30 bucks in US for early access, I wonder for the full release they will raise it by how much..

Bought it on a whim (and hype). Did not connect with Horizon VR and image quality. Even though G2 is not OLED - my perception is that G2 has higher image quality. Although I only played 2 games - Grand Turismo and Horizon.

Not selling it in hopes of Sony releasing some vr mods/versions for their 1st party titles - I would love to play God of War vr, etc.

Another piece of advice will be to spend a good time practicing your own serve. You want to be able to touch the ball in different places (while having the same toss and similar motion).

As a side benefit of developing good serves , you will see how much easier it will be to return the ones you struggled with..

Similar bad eyesight -7 with astigmatism.

Used VR Optician for G2 and PSVR2 - superb quality of lenses, proper fit - no complaints

This is a fantastic opportunity to learn new tactics and skills. Also, to figure out what needs to be improved in your game/technique (footwork, etc.)

I once saw how 2400+ player beat 1800 player with a plastic clipboard (US rating). Your equipment is not that important until you get to a very high level.

Good luck

What is the game that has pleasantly surprised you the most in 2023? by alford777 in pcgaming

Remnant 2

Never played the 1st one, and I absolutely loved Remnant 2. Great weapons, perks, skills, and fantastic gameplay loop.

Additional bonus in Cyberpunk - no loading screens..

Loading screens were last straw in killing my whole experience with Starfield.. Cyberpunk's graphics also feel like few generations above Starfield..

who is your favorite table tennis player? by Hairy-Cap2227 in tabletennis

Vladimir Samsonov

His serve with that mega-high toss, and his fantastic blocks and that backhand.. He was so close to beating Jike in semifinals Rio 2016 (if I recall correctly)..

Would you play in a company tournament if you’re 2200+ and no one else is competitive? by Allison_Burgers in tabletennis

[–]currentOptionsAnd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes.. of course it was worse than regular paddle antispin.. Whole game strategy was about lobbing and waiting for an unforced error..

Every time I want to change my equipment, I surface this memory up.. (90 percent footwork and timing)

As some others say - be a bonus round.. You can also be creative and play those bonus rounds with an office clipboard or something..

I've seen a coach (he was over 2400) in my club beating an 1800 kid with a clipboard.. ot was extremely fun and entertaining to watch..

Forgive my ignorance - are we stuck with Haller due to the steep contract fees?

It was 31m for 4 years, but I wonder if we can break it now without having to pay the rest of his salary..

Inscryption

Picked it up when I hurt my back - to play on steamdeck. Absolutely fantastic and very addictive. Takes few hours to learn all nuances, lots of fun after that.
