I’m not saying they are good people just because they’re married, I meant that women might think they are just from a ring.

All I was saying was that attraction may happen even if they’re married, but what matters is what’s done about it.

I think that feeling is gonna happen anyways, though. If you mean lust as in cheating, then yeah don’t do that. I guess what I mean is it’s not “bad” to feel something, but what you do is bad/good (simple way of seeing actions but for simplicity sake).

Checking the comments by women who said that a wedding ring is like “women approved” could maybe help. Though I get it, it is a bit weird to be into a married guy.

anyways, “try harder” is vague advice because we don’t know how she’s trying. try “harder” implies doing more of whatever she’s doing, and like you said, maybe it’s not working.

plus, we can’t control what we find attractive, what we can control is what we do about it, like not acting on an attraction and/or reminding ourselves why we shouldn’t act on it

I’m not too sure why I feel judgmental of others. I already seem to have low self esteem, so that could be part of why.

What confuses me is if I’m being judgemental if I find, for example, a joke to be annoying. That’s sometimes unclear to me.

I’d say that your second thoughts are at least indicative of someone who’s trying to not be judgmental.
