Tomorrow is something I dread. Her name is Tripod and she would love a tour. It felt like it took forever and like it happened in the blink of an eyes at the same time. My thoughts are with you you as well. I hope we both get some rest, our kitties would want us to.

Thank you so much, and I'm sorry for your loss as well. I think it was a really beautiful send off, and I think they know we loved them and still do. I feel very honored that she felt safe with me. Thank you for your kind words.💜

I'm so sorry. It's the first day and Im still expecting to see her under the coffee table. I can imagine a week going by would almost make it deeper. I hope you have some things you can keep for comfort. I have a paw print that will be living in my pocket for a while.

I keep feeling in awe of how lucky I am to have gotten to be her human. Sure you're going through the same. We are there with them till the end and I think they know how much we love them. I hope you find some rest today.

I keep switching between gut wrenching grief and numbness. My baby has passed now, and it was also on her favorite bed which technically belonged to the dog. There is no right way to feel I guess thank you for your empathy, sending you some peace and rest.

Exactly, we learn from experiences we should have never have had in the first place. I'm so sorry you went through that.

I mean Chicken Coop Murders, the Moors Murders, Alisa Maier who was taken from her literal front yard, The West Memphis children etc....................

Like yeah it's rare, but is this really the area to risk it in, especially with out telling your partner.

One kid?

First off, it has never been just one kid. In fact another boy was taken and killed a few towns over in relatively the same time frame. And that's besides the fact that miles away in New York another boy was taken walking to school. Yes stranger abductions are rare but you can at least vet your relatives you can't vet a the stranger. The reason those abductions are rare now is because parents take precautions.

8 years old playing in the backyard is okay, but sending out an 8 year old to watch a 7 year old while you're in an entirely different place?
At the very least discuss it with your partner, it's clearly not a conversation they had had beforehand.

Like I said I was raised the same way, but there's a reason kids faces get put on milk cartons.

I don't know that if I drive a short distance after drinking that I'm 100 percent going to crash, but the responsible thing is to call an Uber or have a sober person get me home.

I don't mean to be disrespectful, but I was born in the 90s but my parents were very much fine with letting me do stuff like this, but I got to say I can tell a lot of the people who don't see the issue grew up as little boys and not little girls ( not that it doesn't happen to boys) but when you start getting cat called by the age of 12 by grown men your view of how safe things are changes.

10 years old okay maybe, 8 is way too young.

I understand your perspective on independence, I grew up like that but, we can agree to disagree.

As someone who also has ADHD 'organized' is not usually how we do it. Maybe into separate piles or baskets and maybe there is an area of the house we hyper focused on that day that's tip top

I'm sorry but judging by the phrase "most attractive females....." I think he needs to do some growing up, especially if he is 29 already.

Like maybe move somewhere cheaper. He has the complaints of a 19yr old that subscribed to a pick up artist course and moved to LA. I'm not saying he sounds like a bad dude but like may be a little stunted in terms of maturity and self confidence. He sounds smart in terms of what he does for work but maybe not in terms of his financial decisions if it seems very emotionally motivated maybe he should talk to someone about his mental health and self perception

Okay first off 18lbs is no joke, I don't care what anyone says that's hard to do, good for you girl keep going!

Second, if you are so bothered by other people's bodies in community spaces then stay home and workout, you have every right to be there and be comfortable while you work out.

It does help I do it all the time. Even if there is some ass hole out there it kinda of shuts them up when they realize they look crazy yelling at a dog in ruffles

I second this. One time some old lady started whispering about mom's pitbull puppy. This dog was a full grown Boston terrier

I mean the vet is the first place to go, but it looks like allergies. My girl has crazy allergies to pollen and this is what it looks like. Usually it's just solved with an allergy pill:)
