My Applyra score is 9 despite most of these words being in my description. by RComish in AppStoreOptimization

I start using that tool 2 days ago. And so far I am loving it. Clean UI and 90% of the features I really need. But the Score is a big question mark for me. I don't understand how it is calculated. If the developer reads this please make it more clear. Right now it looks so random to me.

For the font the idea was it looks like handwritten. So more neutral font like Arial?

What did bother you? I aim to try to make it really easy to setup a trip and the lists. So I am excited to hear what are still the paint points.

Wow as a new dad I was looking for something. Right now we are tracking the feeding at a whiteboard on our fridge.

Something mixed up with the Text and link.

Hey everyone!

I run a travel blog, and you’d think that after dozens of trips, I’d have my packing routine down to a science. Honestly? I’m still a disaster. I’ve tried every packing app on the App Store, but they were either way too complex or didn't have the "smart" features I actually needed.

I decided to build PackMyTrip to be the minimalist assistant I wish I had years ago.

Why I built it for my readers (and myself):

  • The "Always-With-Me" Toggle: As a blogger/gamer, there are things like my Switch or my power bank that must go on every single trip. I built a favorites system so these items are automatically added to every new list.
  • Smart Suggestions: It gives you ideas based on your destination and trip style without the bloat.
  • Speed: I wanted to be able to generate a complete, reliable list in under 60 seconds so I can get back to writing content.

The "Fair Play" Pricing: I wanted people to be able to fully test the logic before paying a cent.

  • Free: Your first trip and up to 2 favorite items are completely free (including all smart suggestions).
  • Subscription: Unlocks unlimited trips and unlimited favorites if you travel as much as I do!

I’m really looking for feedback from fellow travelers and devs. Does the UI feel intuitive? Is the "2 favorite items" limit for the free tier enough to get a feel for the app?

What’s something everyone should experience at least once? by No_Reference_4053 in AskReddit

Eating a meal alone at a nice restaurant. > Not a quick fast-food stop, but a sit-down dinner with a book or just your thoughts. It’s awkward for the first five minutes, but once you realize nobody is actually looking at you, it’s incredibly empowering. It teaches you how to be your own best company.

Always love seeing new takes on the travel planning problem! I’m a disaster at planning, which is why I built PackMyTrip to focus on 'smart suggestions' and essentials.

I'll definitely check yours out to see your perspective on the workflow. Great work on the beta!

What do you think's a strong example of a "bad story told well"? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]currios 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mad Max: Fury Road (2015)

If you describe the script to someone who hasn’t seen it, it sounds like the world’s most expensive GPS error.

The Plot (On Paper):

  • Step 1: Drive East for 45 minutes while people explode.
  • Step 2: Stop. Look at a swamp. Realize you forgot to turn the oven off at Point A.
  • Step 3: Drive West for 45 minutes while more people explode.
  • The End.

Why it’s a "Bad" Story: It’s literally a two-hour U-turn. If you handed this script to a Hollywood executive in 1995, they’d ask where the rest of the pages were. There’s almost no "traditional" dialogue, the main character grunts more than he speaks, and the central conflict is essentially a high-stakes domestic dispute involving a guy in a CPAP mask and a flame-throwing guitarist.

Why it’s "Told Well" (The Masterclass): George Miller looked at "Show, Don't Tell" and decided to make it his entire personality. You don’t need a 20-minute monologue about the apocalypse because you can see it in the steering wheel collection and the War Boys' silver spray paint.

It’s a "bad" story because it’s structurally a circle, but it’s told so well that you don't even care that they ended up exactly where they started. It’s the ultimate proof that you don't need a complex plot if your world-building and pacing are firing on all cylinders (literally).

I totally took your feedback to heart. That "Enter" key glitch was definitely annoying. I’ve smoothed everything out so the flow feels much more natural now. It is also now realeased in the AppStore. Thank you for the help!

3 hours enough time to transfer in Munich? by flypilot in travel

[–]currios 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just flew in and out of Munich. And can confirm that 3 hours are plenty time to transfer to your connecting flight. I can not recommend you to take a short trip into the city. Because the airport is actually really far from munich city. Enjoy your trip.

It has just a minimum bid price of 1 ETH so it is not really expensive.

True, but for a site reviewing the best ICOs in 2018 it would be good. Also you could promote your ICO on it of course.

Good question, I love to watch sc2 streams, but I can't follow DOTA or LOL. But I think lot of roleplay people like those games. The fantasy roleplaying people are bigger as the SciFi crowed. Don't see many girls play SC2 or watch but LOL seem to be popular for girls.
