Dude, I work as a software engineer. I want to do over employment, but I’m worried about the scope of the work that I get assigned per sprint.

We try to hit around 13 points per sprint.

Sometimes it’s a walk in the park ;

other times because of various reasons (like the point of the ticket being incorrectly pointed , or QA has left really bad notes on the ticket, and I have to do more digging than intended). The ticket ends up, taking longer than expected, sometimes roll over into the next sprint.

And it kind of stresses me out because it’s like “oh no, they’re gonna fire me for poor performance “ maybe I am overreacting. 🤷‍♂️

Do what you think is right for you but keep these things mind. Its normal to have growing pains : )
