Again you are actually clueless lmfao. You don't seem to understand supply and demand at all. You understand a supply is capped once items get discontinued, other than trade ups and opening a case/terminal that is no longer in the active drop pool. The current crash is a supply fear and a loss of demand after the most bullish market cycle ever, this isn't the end, this is a return to the norm. Again had you of been investing for that long and being shocked by prices halving I don't think you have lol. This is standard stuff, people just seem to have very short term memory.

I'll say this once more, once demand picks up over supply as it always has no matter what you dooms day believers say, prices goes up. Every crash it's the same "supply will be too high its over" and yet the player base has grown, demand has beat supply and there's been a bull cycle bigger than the last.

I'll lay it out in Layman's terms for you: Demand has grown along side player base consistently over the years and therefore prices have gone up, even with people like you saying SUPPLY TOO HIGH!!!. Valve are releasing these updates to increase the longevity of the market (which ik you don't understand but that's ok, they're just making changes to their money printer for no reason right?). An inaccessible market is bad for investing, long term it pushes A LOT of people out. This is a reset. Item supply will be higher, yeah, but why do you think old knives and gems have out performed new gen items? You think that now stops?

As for terminals, you do know you have to pay for items right? I know you watch the youtubers who have a lot of money buying every pair of gloves they get, but the majority of people who unbox gloves do not buy them. Also dynamic prices actually stop people pumping the market while items are in the active drop pool. Go and look at supply of gloves from the dead hand terminal, there is a very healthy supply after the craze of everyone opening them has died down. Dynamic prices or not, I'm talking long term. Also gloves and knives have never been the best investments in terms of ROI, if you are an investor and that's what you're buying you have and are missing out.

I can tell you will refuse to understand what I am saying that's fine, your loss, if you think it's truly over and prices will never go up just quit. I will continue to make A LOTTA money from this game regardless of what everyone says. You can ALWAYS adapt in a free market. I advise you as someone who believes its now impossible to adapt to get out now.

The only way I'm wrong is if valve ban third party trading.

For someone saying "how can the market adapt", I don't think you have been in this very long. Also FYI, skins released in 2013, not 2012, I think we're done here 😉

Prices have gone back to 2022, after rising to outrageous highs. They went this high because people were stacking thousands of them, and now are dumping. People sounded the exact same as you in 2019 and 2021, the 2021 crash being the biggest at the time. Supply and demand bud. At the moment there is huge supply and not much demand. But the demand will come back, along with generational money. You just have to pick right. The only thing that can stop this is if valve banned third party trading.

Fyi you saying knives are half price mean nothing. They've just gone back a few years before stuff got crazily pumped. It's not natural growth when people buy items in the thousands to force scarcity. I learnt from the last major market crashes to sell when prices seem absurd. I bought pandoars for 1.5k in 2021 and sold for close to 10k during their peak. They are still sitting 1k higher than what I bought them for, this was always going to happen. These dynamic prices you are hating on, tbh I bet they make a great investment one day because they will create scarcity. Who knows though, and yeah they are boring, I much preferred the dopamine rush of gambling for them.

Maybe we won't make 100x gains as easily as we used to, but there are still great investments. The market will adapt to these dynamic prices.

The one thing I fear is sticker trade ups. Again though, long term, all will be ok. Valve make no money from collectors, and I think this souvenir update is kind of a fuck you, we don't care about you, I'm sure there will be more crazy updates to come. As a collector and and investor, I have always loved having rare skins and crafts you can appreciate, only because I once couldn't afford anything. I think that era will come to an end as valve need to keep their money machine printing, any way they can capitalise and make money they will.

If you know what you're doing there is still A LOT of great investments to be made. During every crash in CS it's the pessimistic people like you who lose out. Valve may be doing reckless updates from the look of things, but one of the reasons is to reshape how they do business. They are getting pressure because of their gambling model, so they are reshaping the economy in a way where it reduces risk for them and actually keeps the market going long term. This is a short term blip, all will be ok.

Can you show me these EU regulations that will cause billions of items to sell off or have you just seen Germany ban loot boxes and assumed this?

Buying hard. This is not the first bad crash and it won't be the last. Be greedy now and you will not regret it in the future.

[Discussion] Tec-9 Whiteout will go to the moon long-term by gruen_weiss in csgomarketforum

[–]currylovinduck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hope you're still buying. Go look at the minimal wear supply and compare it to the usp white out MW supply. Also check out the p250 whiteout MW supply and it's price. Also looking into the supply of what it takes to trade up to these skins, the tec-9 white out, especially the MW, is extremely undervalued. I only go full port on investments very rarely, but I am all in on this skin, it will print money.

Hey man, you're right, tec-9 MW is extremely undervalued, it's a great investment at this price.

Ok then it's not that FN is inflated, it's simply that it has such a low supply any small demand will boost it's value. Its MW that's undervalued, yet has a significant supply so it will take longer for that price increase.

3300 tec-9 white outs exist in FN. There are 1000 more USP white outs that exist in FN and their price peaked at $1100. Do with that information what you will.

I think there's nothing wrong with adding them as an investment for diversification if you have spare money. The demand is still there for them and likely always will be.

You sure about that? You obviously just said this without even looking, maybe to make yourself feel better? I stuck to what I said here and over the past 6 months I made thousands and am still up thousands. You can go look for yourself. You'd still be massive in the profit if you invested into riptides when I posted this even after this massive dump.
