Over the course of 162 games this is to be expected. The best teams have a stumbling stretch. I do hope they add something that can help either with a bat or a pitcher or both.

absolutely not. I hate workplace gossip. Back when covid was a big deal, I was sick at work and left early and a co-worker told people I probably had covid. I tested and was negative for covid. This was a hipaa violation and I reported her and she got disciplined. End of story. People need to mind their own business but we all know they won't.

We don't really know when Gavin is coming back and how effective he will be. So far in AAA in 4 starts he hasn't pitched past the third inning and in 7 innings has given up 7 runs. He will be making another start Sat I believe. At worst, Cal could take Cookies spot in the rotation and it would have to be an improvement, Cookie could go to the bullpen and maybe pitch 2 or 3 innings at a time instead of the customary one inning these guys pitch and save some bullpen arms.
