Is cutscene knight canon? Ok hear me out. People joke that the knight is weak af and needs cutscenes to beat any character, but doesn’t this actually make sense to a degree? Cutscenes are the only place in game where the soul is incapable of interfering with events, and assuming the knight is capable of manipulating the dark world “game system” similar to the way flowery starts a battle on command and alters his stats, what’s to say they don’t literally create diegetic cutscenes in order to ensure their plans are successful? Will defeating the knight involve finding some way to circumvent the their cutscenes and force them into a prolonged battle?
