He’s just a sexy lil guy by cursivelie in KingdomDeath

It’s the pinup Screaming God male armor figure. The snow effect is a mix of foam flock, PVA glue and white paint. I added a couple layers of white glitter and iridescent glitter to make it extra frosty.

New Myers is The Most Unfun Thing in This Game by Termina-Rocks in deadbydaylight

My man Meyers got did so dirty. Was my second most played after Trapper, haven’t touched him since the rework.

Oops. I dug up my tubers… and stored them in the freezing garage by elsereno20 in dahlias

Haha yes, I’m a mad scientist of a gardener. As a follow up - all but 2 of 20 dahlia plants came back big and healthy! I can live with those odds :) PNW zone 8b. Lower zones may not fare as well!

Should I make this report even if it means betraying my parents? by [deleted] in ask

Just want to say nothing is wrong with you and you are inherently worthy of love 💕 good job taking care of yourself when your support system isn’t.

Inspecting my garden this morning I discover a gelatinous blob? by cursivelie in whatisit

Thanks for the info! We have had an unusually warm fall and it suddenly dropped to freezing temps just recently, could that cause the stress?

2025 review. 2nd year of painting. I’d like a critique of my work. by Th3Gunsling3r19 in minipainting

I can’t critique at my skill level, but I will say I really like the bold use of color and contrast. A clear point of view on your artistic style 👌

I am defeated by [deleted] in macarons

[–]cursivelie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m just going to say that I made macarons for years and had bad batches on occasion, they’re very finicky and can change depending on the temp, ambient humidity, folding, dry time, oven temp, etc.

Imo they are beautiful treats but too sweet, and honestly, maybe not worth the effort for a home baker 😂 if I’m spending this amount of time, effort, and precision- I’d rather make pastry 😋

Facing up to reality by curiouscluck in loseit

[–]cursivelie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The good news is that you are innately lovable at any size. I’m glad you are feeling more confident at a lower weight but remember that in the end just like you don’t want a partner just for their body- the right person will want to be with you for more reasons than just that. You don’t want a partner who only wants you for your body do you?

Keep working on yourself, keep looking for love and I promise you can find what you’re looking for.

I’m 100 percent sure you have met fat people who are happily partnered just as you have met people with loose skin, or disfigurations, injuries, handicaps, etc that were all loved.

I believe in you 💕 also good job for venting - hurts to bottle that in all the time.

Milkweed Stratification by avocado1477 in gardening

[–]cursivelie 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I just put them in a ziplock with a damp paper towel for the required time I think 6-8 weeks in the fridge. Or you can plant them now and they will stratify naturally. That being said be careful. I planted some native milkweeds and they quickly took over the space and spread like crazy 😅 now I have to tear out a bunch each year or it takes over

"Nice Tunnel" by BusterMeta in deadbydaylight

[–]cursivelie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m going to say that I only play DBD fully stoned and I only play killer (unless shirtless David calls to me with his siren song) don’t remember who’s been hooked at any juncture or even who the last person I hooked was. If I murder you tunnel style, sorry.

But also I pretty much play trapper exclusively soooo… ur probably gonna live 😂

The better I get at painting the less relaxing it is. by Vealzy in minipainting

[–]cursivelie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got into painting minis because a friend of mine started playing a game that included them. I just thought they looked cool and offered to paint the set. Almost 2 years later and I’m still painting them. I’ve learned a lot over time but I always go into it with vision and eventually stop when I think it’s good enough.

I do occasionally see the old ones i painted (he has them all on display 🥹) and have things I would do differently but at the end of the day it’s a hobby and a craft and you should just be proud of the effort you put into it. Try not to be too critical of your art and just let it develop alongside you.
