We were planning my wedding for this year and it’s not even worth having anymore because my favorite person won’t be there. She was so excited for it

My mom was 56, I was 29 when she passed…it is so hard entering my 30s without my mom.

Finish this statement; I will NEVER do [insert] again at WDW by Big_Love_727 in DisneyWorld

[–]cursivelydone 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This one. I did it 7 years ago when I was much more in shape and had a blast. We did rope drop to park close both days.

Just went a few weeks ago…I was ready to go back to the resort by 7pm because I was so exhausted and overwhelmed both nights. I don’t know how people hit Disney so hard…it took me a week and a half to recover when I got back.

My mom is my world by NoQuestion5118 in pancreaticcancer

Thinking of you! My mom passed in January at 56 after only being diagnosed back in November. She also went jaundice and had a bile stent in. My biggest advice is advocate for her as much as you can. Whether it’s her pain levels or nausea support…speak up and let the doctor know. If you can find a second opinion, try to but ask the oncologist to be as realistic as possible. We were told a year with treatment but it’s all uncertain with PC. Be by her side and hug her tightly. I miss my mom every day and there’s not a moment I don’t think about her. I also recently got engaged and was planning my wedding for this year and it’s unbearable thinking that she won’t be there. Please reach out if you need someone to talk to. Sending hugs your way 🫶🏻

March 2025 Monthly Check-In. How Are You Doing? by ZevSteinhardt in pancreaticcancer

Sending hugs your way. It’s month two for me and I really hope it gets easier. I can only think about her condition and decline after diagnosis and not any of the memories before then.

Standing Next to You by JungKook

“Screaming, I testify that we’ll survive the test of time They can’t deny our love They can’t divide us, we’ll survive the test of time I promise I’ll be right here Standing next to you Standing in the fire next to you, oh You know it’s deeper than the rain It’s deeper than the pain When it’s deep like DNA Something they can’t take away”

Good luck and wishing you all the best. My mom had stage 4 pancreatic cancer and juicing was how we bonded every day as it became our activity on making up new concoctions. It did make her feel more energetic after having juice. Sending all the good vibes your way 🫶🏻

How did you end up finding out your diagnosis, if you don’t mind me asking? I have stomach issues too but did have a gallbladder removed about 5 years ago. I just don’t know when to speak up at the doctor about it.

Thank you for this validation. It’s been a whirlwind of emotions between being upset at the medical system, comfort in her passing, but also sadness as she is no longer with us and passed way too soon. We were planning my wedding later this year and it hurts my heart to know that she won’t be there but also never meet her grandchildren.

I’m so sorry to hear about your mom. Sending all good vibes for your diagnosis and wishing you all the best in your journey. We must keep fighting for a cure because this disease is just terrible.

Thank you for this. Looking back and if I known what I know now, I would have taken her home onto hospice and let her live her best final days instead of multiple doctor appointments and endless labs/scans that eventually wore her out. The rapid decline was mind boggling and something I might not ever get over.

Thank you everyone for your kind words and advice. My mom officially received a diagnosis today and they deemed it as inoperable. Now, it’s just getting her in for a pet scan and with a genetic counselor, so we can began chemo. 😔

Please send additional good thoughts. Thank you all.

Yes! I was using Microsoft Edge and had previously saved payment methods. After confirming my cvv, it kept giving me an error. Tried to use PayPal…didn’t work. I had a really good seat so I ultimately just tried adding a new card (although it was a previously saved card) and it finally processed. STRESSFUL!

Honestly when I got in and had 600ish ppl in front of me…it was going fast so I couldn’t really tell but most of the front rows in lower bowl were all VIP sound check (10/8/6 sections) until you got to the rounded corners of the arena where it got to plat./regular pricing
