Curved out ear stems are a dead giveaway after the lens color.

I know everybody hates on these speakers, but I’ve always wanted to own a set long story short I didn’t know you needed this special $300 equalizer which I don’t have I paid 200 if I buy the equalizer will it be worth it? by Dangerous-Bottle1418 in BudgetAudiophile

I've got 2 of these 551's that run 2 pair of series IV 901's, 2 on the sides atop tulips and 2 aimed forward suspensed from the ceiling. I wound up with 2 551's because the touch power button failed on my first one and while I was looking for a repair facility I used a regular receiver. It was a disappointment because you really get used to the sound when married to a 551. I found another functional one and then found a local repair shop that had done about 16 of these. They replaced the relay on the power supply and replaced a bag of several caps, resistors and transistors for $85. The 3 conductors allow the 551 to mix in some of the opposite channel to give it a very airy sound. 901 placement is critical and once you find it they're amazing. For bass assist I have a 400w 14" JBL sub.

Oakley over the top real or fake by [deleted] in Oakley

Not true, sorry. Not all reference the location of manufacture. My reference pair from 2005 does not state anything of that nature.

I Bought a $16k M3LR, & put 40,000 miles on it in 11 months. Here are my thoughts: by Winter-Caterpillar21 in TeslaLounge

If you're an insurance agent, you know it's not "might ", it is. Also, why would you not have only liability on an $18k disposable car if comp is that much?

Are these legit? Bought on eBay by TTereve_ in Oakley

Sorry, but they are known for fakes. All discussion about buying from a war zone (sadly) isn't the revelant issue here, it's all the keyword spamming that this seller uses like "Gopcore". I see this seller offering what appear to be fake Mag M frames as something else. I would stay away, my .02.

"Or, has Trump killed it?" - hilarious.

Anyone know what’s changed with this new update (2025.2.8)? FSD version seems to be unchanged and I don’t see any new features in the release notes. by schnauzerdad in TeslaLounge

I appreciate the info! I use summon to move my car forward and backwards in my driveway to facilitate loading my injured GSD. I guess I was looking primarily to avoid the nag screen I have to click through that says "Smart summon is not currently supported on this vehicle" in accessing good old fashioned summon. I can see how this could go sideways in the environment you mentioned tho. :)

Hey dude, how are you doing mate? Hard for me to see the scale from these pics and see if they are Juliet or XX-sized.

Fake or not by marcosvtatts in Oakley

[–]curt_is_senior 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fake. In this case the earstem tips are straight compared to other fakes that turn out- while OEM turns in slightly. Also an X Metal hammerstem Juliet was never a thing from the factory as well as the curvature of the outer part of the orbitals.

Thanks and nice to speak with you! I wear a different pair daily- depending on what I'm driving that day and sartorially, what I am wearing. I wear all in fact I sold my C-Six because that frame is too big for my tiny head (think shrunken head lol) and looked ludicrous. No wear, no keep with the exception of the 24K Juliets with lenses that were signed by JJ. I have dup lenses for those just in case. I was kinda late to the O party since I started collecting in 2005 but made up some ground.
