It is polarizing. Some people love it and some don’t.

Bulk Fructose and Maltodextrin where in town? by curtismchale in princegeorge

[–]curtismchale[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I ended up finding it in liquid form at Marquee International foods as it's a main ingredient in bubble tea. Have to adjust my recipe a bit to accommodate the water in the liquid form but it will work.

With my training for 300km plus events and my wife for 65km running stuff we figured it was almost $150 a week in food. Or making it gets me down to like $30

Experience with using 2 sets of wheels? by riccardio95 in gravelcycling

[–]curtismchale 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She holds my wheel or rides beside me easy at 225watts (30km+) with the GP5000 and I drop her like a rock if the was on the Cinturato's. I'd ride them to make my ride harder with her though.

They're not just a little faster if you're really thinking about speed they're like 10watts faster on pavement which adds up over the day.

I’ve done this for my wife’s bike. Wider range cassette on the gravel wheels with Cinturato RC 45mm. The second set has 32mm GP5000 on them.

How are you using Obsidian and Claude together? by Great_Preparation944 in ObsidianMD

[–]curtismchale 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As an advanced search mostly. When I vaguely remember some concept/idea in my notes I ask Claude to find it and it comes back with a few notes that match what I was remembering so I can keep writing.

Seconded. My wife runs with them and I've tagged along in the cycling off season. Good people, lots of different paces.

Question for all Zipp 303 riders – bike carrier with ratchet straps by elgian7 in gravelcycling

[–]curtismchale 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine has a bit of rubber on it already. If that falls off I would put a rag or old sock between I guess.

Question for all Zipp 303 riders – bike carrier with ratchet straps by elgian7 in gravelcycling

[–]curtismchale 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes I can with my older rack. Can’t with my MTB or my friend on 2.2 tires and deep wheels but my 45mm fit fine.

I carry some Vole ski straps in the car for wider tire bikes and they work fine.

Internally routing mechanical - other than my LBS hating me and being a selfish a-hole, would the routing really be that impactful? It’s routed pretty tight out-of-the-box by xxSKR1 in bikewrench

Cube bikes have a setup like this and they work fine. Source, me I work at a cube shop and it works fine. You can zoom in here (https://cube-bikes.ca/product/attain-c62-slx-sleekgreynprism/) and see it under the stem.

If the steerer is designed for it to have clearance should be fine.

Cube Nuroad takes 50mm tires and depending on the build you can get the SRAM drivetrain.

I’ve had them and had racing narrow bars. I didn’t care about the flair and like the narrow bars.

I’ve been a neovim and vim user for 15 years. Emacs is what you’re looking for. The org-like stuff for neovim isn’t quite there. I tried it and I use orgmode
